Bought a Vauxhall Astra from Parsonage Car Sales, and on 1st glance everything seemed fine. But 10 days after my purchase I had a problem with the car not starting. I wasn't to worried as my car was still well with the dealers 28 day warranty. HOW WRONG I WAS!!!!!!!! The dealer was obnoxious over the phone to me from the moment I said "faulty car in warranty". I said "I think the battery or the alternator has gone", the obnoxious member of staff at Parsonage Car Sales replied: "where have they gone???". And then quickly said "they're now under warranty anyway". I won't be buying another car from Parsonage Car Sales. My advice to you is to avoid Parsonage car sales (and if you read the other reviews I'm not the only one offering this advice).
Similar experience to others I am afraid ,avoid Parsonage Car Sales at all costs is what I can say. We bought a Mazda 5 from them. The MOT was nearly at expiry, something we had regretfully not noticed at the time of purchase. Sure enough we took the car to our local garage. One of the rear coil springs had snapped and was pointing perilously close to the rear side tyre. The other was heavily corroded and nearly due to do the same. The clutch was heavily worn and needed replacing. There was also a nail in one of the tyres. This cost us £750 in total for new suspension parts, clutch and tyre to get back on the road in a roadworthy condition. The response has been wholly unsatisfactory so far - responses to phone calls were that they were 'busy with a customer' and never phoned back. Eventually the only communication was via recorded delivery, suggesting they have a track record of dealing with disgruntled customers.
Terrible service, the dealer put the phone down on me as a customer. The car had rust and was not made to a good standard as i asked before buying. I sold the car 3 months later

Guy called ian sold me the car, i bought it with a years warranty and he only gave me 6 months, car had 4 owners when he told me it had 2, didnt check my brakes at all, as they were in terrible condition and to top it off with having to replace the windscreen wipers after a day, and needed 2 new tyres aswell as brake discs and pads, and i have just found out te car suspension couls are nackered to. The heated seat in driverside doesnt work aswell as a rip too. Doesnt pick your calls up when you try rectifying the problem
