Pentagon at Barnsley are very good at selling you a new car. The service and after care go down hill if your breaks down. We bought our new Jeep Renegade on the 29th June 2019. It broke down in Barnsley on the27th July 2020. We had a breakdown firm come and look at it. It was the battery!! It was jump started. The Jeep had a three year warranty. We took it straight to Pentagon to have it repaired. We were told they were very busy and they could not look at the car until two days later the 29th July. We asked for a courtesy car to get home as my wife is waiting for a new heart valve and has a Blue Badge or a lift home .They said no cars were available for a lift or courtesy car!! We had to pay for a taxi to get home. The next day 28th July Pentagon phoned us to say that it was a faulty battery. They had to send for a new battery from Italy and this would take seven to ten days!! We then had to plead with the Service Manager for courtesy car. No way!! He finally got in touch with Jeep. Jeep said we could have a hire car from Enterprise.. Jeep arranged this for us.

Just bought a Nissan Leaf from Pentagon Barnsley and part-exchanged our older leaf - our contact there was Karl and throughout our dealings he was Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - all the paperwork was clearly explained and he even explained the best route back for us so we could see some of the lovely peak scenery ( we were up from Devon ) I say well done Pentagon - and Thank you Karl

Pentagon Fiat Barnsley is the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with! I purchased a used vehicle from them in July. I left a deposit to secure the vehicle and arranged for a few bits of work to be done to the vehicle before I purchased it. Arranged to collect ten days later and pay the full balance. This way I would have the car for my driving holiday to cornwall and Devon. Went to collect the car, paid the balance to then be told the car wasn’t ready. It would be a few days. It turned out to be another 2 weeks before the car was ready for collection! When I went to pick the car up the work that been agreed to be done hadn’t been done. I then found that the wing mirror didn’t work (it was electric). They then kept the car and I had another wasted journey. Two days later the car was ready. They did deliver it to me. I took possession. The car has been fine since. However more than two months on I still have not received the V5 log book. After emailing one guy three times and receiving no response I called to be fobbed with you need to contact dvla. The guy who sold the car, Ryan at Pentagon Barnsley Fiat was an absolute disgrace. I would not trust him to sell ice creams. His sales technique was there but his customer service and after sale car is utterly beyond diabolical. Save yourselves time, money and the disappointment and shop elsewhere. Avoid Ryan and Fiat Barnsley like the plague.

Everything was fine with my Renault Kangoo from Pentagon Nissan, happy with everything. Recommend to anyone looking for a car
