This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a car dealership...they didn't tell me my deposit was not refundable...the car isn't up to my expectations...in my eyes this is theft...it's my money and they have no right in keeping it...the salesman is a absolute ignorant bully...not professional at all ..I'm taking this further...my money not theres.....

We bought a Polo (over £6K) through Philip Paul in July. It was given an MOT by their in house services the day before we collected it: with no faults found. On the drive home we noticed a severe pull to the left, so within 2 hours of purchase we returned. Tyres pumped up, we asked for check on tracking. Told that it was jammed, so we would need it replacing after our holiday (which we were about to leave on with the ‘new car’). Left for holiday that same afternoon, 2 hours into the journey all warning lights came on, car went into limp mode. Had to be abandoned on a friends drive in Oxford. Philip Paul refused to collect car from Oxford, so we arranged pick up. Money for car returned after a couple of email exchanges, though initial expectation from the garage was that we would buy another car from their forecourt (as if!) We await the £360 we paid for recovery of the vehicle. Small claims court here we come.
