I spotted the car on Autotrader and contacted Philip by email with some questions. He responded within the hour with answers to all my questions (not all dealers do this). It wasn’t a hard sell and when I eventually saw the car it was exactly as described. Philip’s style was friendly and professional without any attempt to be my best mate. He was patient and allowed me plenty of time to examine the car, check the paperwork and take it for a test drive. Having done my research I knew the sticker price was about right. I doubt very much if Philip has a sheepskin coat tucked away in his wardrobe. He doesn’t conform to the stereotypical image of the secondhand car salesman. Buying a second car can be a little stressful, particularly if you’re buying the car for your son. Philip made the whole experience bearable and comfortable. I would definitely recommend doing business with him.
