My experience with this company is absolutely disgraceful. Found the car (Mercedes A class) on a recognised website in which their reviews were very good (4.8/5). This added to the fact that the company name is Prestige Cars and the seller (Richie) was pleasant and helpful gave me the reassurance of a good buy. Little did I know. We started our conversations on Friday (29/11/24) where I was asked for a £900 deposit which I transferred immediately and the business was finalised on Saturday (30/11/24). That same day, we agreed collection on Wednesday (04/12/24). Richie assured me that the car would be cleaned and valeted, ready for pick up any time from 11.30am on Wednesday. When we got there, coming all the way from Exeter, the car had green moss on all the door rubbers, all around the boot shut and behind all door handles and there was big clumps of dead leaves stuck in the bonnet vents. The wheels haven’t been prepared or cleaned, the engine cover had two big splits on it, the back spoiler was loose, the handle was missing from the boot floor and there was quite a big chip of the windscreen, which we only saw after we drove away. Also, the car was advertised with two keys but only one was there on collection. After encountering all these problems, we were promised a £250 refund and the second key to be sent to our home address via post when they find it. According to Richie (which suddenly wasn’t so helpful anymore), this refund would be in my account in two to three working days. A week has gone by and we have no insight of the refund, the key or even Richie. Our phone calls and messages are ignored. Customer service is nonexistent. Respect and honesty are words that obviously are not part of Richie’s vocabulary. Stay away from this garage if you value your money and your sanity.

Purchased a vehicle from "ritchard" he promised to valet the car before we received it, "never got done" when we had the car for a day or two there become problems like a big chip on the windscreen we didn't notice, a big hole missing out of the front bumper and a loud banging underneath the car, reported it back to "ritchard" he had the car back to order new parts and get things repaired, no courtesy car offered, he had the car for two weeks, we turned up unannounced and the car is sat there with no repairs at all, we then tried to talk to ritchard and the response was I have not got time to talk. Phone me tomorrow, tried phoning "tomorrow" to no answer repeatedly. Shock, got hold of him days later and we told him we wish to cancel the agreement, he then said he can't give £3,000 deposit back because they have no funds, we may have to wait a month, what an absolute joke of a man and dealership, stay away people what a corrupt and dodgy car dealership. Never ever go back there

Bought a vehicle . Had nothing but problems with it . Was forced to get rid of it as had major gearbox and engine faults . Found out from a dealer that the car was stolen recovered which I was not told about when purchasing the vehicle.

AVOID! AVOID!! AVOID!!! Prestige Cars, they are definitely not! They knowingly sold us an unroadworthy car, took our money and tried to run! Purchased Audi A3... mid Nov 2023, which was delivered nearly 3 weeks late with no V5 (log book), no comprehensive history (as advertised), No MOT certificate, in fact No paperwork at all! And on the day delivered, within 25 miles the EML light came on, followed almost immediately by the coolant light, with warning to STOP ENGINE! A phone call to ‘Prestige cars Cardiff’ and many more, for days and weeks after were ignored - Customer service is appalling, almost non existent, with every excuse from paternity leave, compassionate leave, annual leave as to why calls, text etc were unansered. I truly believe they were waiting for our 3 month warranty to run out and claim nothing could be done! How is it possible this company has won awards? Awards!!? they must be FAKED or FIXED! Only due to a third party involvement was the Audi finally recovered 6 weeks later, and returned back to prestige cars (at no expense to them), to fix potential head gazgette. That said, Prestige Cars loaned us a Toyota Aygo for over 3 weeks whilst Audi A3 was being ‘fixed’. The Audi was returned, yet the same issues repeated themselves within the first day, again! EML light, followed by coolant light, with warning STOP ENGINE! Why loan us a car and NOT fix the problem? The 3 months warranty at this point was up so we can only assume they thought we would count our loses and go away? An Independent report, by a trained engineer revealed/confirmed NO WORK HAD BEEN CARRIED OUT!! - The head gazgette had not been touched! No FIX! DO NOT TRUST Prestige Cars Cardiff, even after the independent report showed the picture evidence, they (actually) called us and tried to pass the buck to the garage(s) that allegedly fixed the fault. To then sate they (prestige cars) had been out of pocket with this Audi by thousands!!!!(?) Out of pocket is buying in good faith a faulty car! having it sat on the drive for nearly 5 months whilst paying for hire cars, taxis just to get to work! - Our children missing months of their out of school activities and recognition of advancements in said activities as unable to use the Audi we purchased to get them there! This Audi has now been returned to Prestige Cars Cardiff, with money refunded, but, also money deducted as allegedly driven 4000 miles in the first month from purchase!! Really! – how is that possible, with all the circumstances, let alone receiving almost 3 weeks after purchase? – Insult to injury!! Audi was unusable! These guys sold me a dangerous car that's been rammed re sprayed and with a dodgy mot . They can reply with all thre bull but I'll quite happily put my engineers report on here . Stay away they sell dangerous dodgy cars that risk people's lives .

Purchased an immaculate Skoda Fabia VRS 2014 ref with genuine 18000 miles. Car drove without fault on the 3 hour long journey home. Two small problems quickly sorted by Richard the sales director. Extremely pleased with service & fully recommend to use this professional dealer.

DO NOT BUY FROM PRESTIGE CARS CARDIFF I brought a Focus St from them sat 4 months on my drive waiting to be repaired, still not repaired to date, no refund. Plenty empty promises, took car for 5 weeks are returned it broken with same issues. BE WARNED !!!!

A pleasure to deal with. We keep going back and over the last few years, between us, my husband and I have bought 5 cars from them. We know we’ll have great service. Every car has been an excellent buy. Immaculately presented and realistically priced. Delivered my latest car today, distance no problem very impressed! Happy to highly recommend them!
