Made an offer on a car as you do, I am paying cash - I got arrogant and abusive messages, but to see how many faulty cars they sell just makes me happy to know I did not proceed.
1 star is too high for these cowboys and the staff that work there! Last year I bought a Mercedes-Benz ML270 CDI from here, it worked for about 2 weeks then the issues started, fuel gage went, then there was an issue with emerge fuel pump, then the bearings went and then there was an issue with the injectors. After various trips too and from them and various repairs carried out by them it seemed the car would suddenly have a new issue a week after the repairs. I called and said I wanted a refund for the cost of the car which was £3000 and was told “sorry your guarantee has run out” I ended up having to sell the vehicle for spares or repairs just after 3 months since purchase. I then hear they have gone bust and have closed down so I can’t imagine me getting my money back, courts would cost too much anyways. AVOID Prestige Motors Direct at all costs! Don’t waste your money on these scumbags and cowboys!
Do not under any circumstances purchase a car fom this company after sales service is nothing short of criminal car l purchased for my daughter was a death trap have nothing but disgusted with them.
I would give NO stars for Prestige Motors Direct but you dont get the option! They have ceased trading but I've had a dreadful experience of their after sales service which has cost my a lot of money. By other reviews below, it seems that they were just interested in selling off their cars before going out of business in December, regardless of how many people they ripped off and messed about! Shocking! I've been in dispute with them since March 2018 and intend to continue to pursue my claim through the courts if its at all possible. How dare they think they can treat people like this! There must be a way people can get recompense
I bought a car from Prestige Motors Direct a few months ago. When we saw the car before the paying there were a few items present in the car ( mats and universal key for the tyres ). but when we received the car non of these items were in the car. The manager promised us the send them to us but he never actually. I rang them many times and they kept saying that he's not at the garage. they also promised us to change the tyres and put new ones ( because they were totally consumed ) and they never did.
Apparently Prestige Motors Newton le Willows, has closed, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this shower of Charlatans open up under a different name. Please do not buy a car from them as you will regret it. My experience is very similar to those already listed. I should have trusted my instinct but didn’t. Sold me a car with a known fault and then refused to give me a refund because I’d had the car for 39 days and they’re only legally obliged to refund within 30 days. The sales manager actually said that to me. The car went back to them and they had it 5 weeks and then gave it back without carrying out any work on it. Having taken the car to a Seat dealership they confirmed the issue. I’m not sure if I can sue them as it’s closed down.

Maybe we should start a posse of angry ex-customers of these 'Charletans' and make them pay through the courts for their apalling service!
Despite returning the car with major mechanical and safety issues, Prestige Motors Direct have constantly refused to do anything at about making the car good. Nothing but lies and contradictions. The Workshop Manager looks constantly terrified of saying the wrong thing. The Sales Manager promises the earth and delivers nothing and refused to reply to email contact.

The sales manager is a born lier.told me they had fitted a new clutch I my corsa 😂 it's well in its way out now £600 to get fix cars not worth that now
Do not buy a car from Prestige Motors Direct, we bought a car that has many faults and now Close Brothers who financed the car are having to repair under Consumer Rights Act. According to Close Brothers the dealership has closed.
Do not give your money over to Prestige Motors Direct. No after sales customer service even with serious problems on the vehicle.
I part exchanged an astra VXR for a Mercedes E350 on 21/12/2018. The salesman seemed not to have a clue about selling me a car. mistake after mistake. he did not give me the green form from the V5 document so I couldn't tax the Mercedes. call after call to see if it had been sent to DVLA, then the receptionist tells me they have ceased trading as from 2nd January. A sales advisor told me to print off a V62 for another V5 form to and it would cost me £25.00 for another V5.. No wonder they have gone bust. (Note added 11/01/2019.)

Did exactly the same with me! Had to pay 25.00 for a new v5. Never come across so much incoptitense in all the years I have been buying cars.
