My experience has put me off this dealership completely. Sold me a faulty car that nearly caused an accident in the first half hour of driving home, the car was so bad it had to be taken back, they switched it for another car after months of waiting. The new car had some problems which I've fixed myself as I couldn't be bothered dealing with Quicks in Lincoln again. Wasn't offered any sort of compensation, overall a rubbish service and one I would not repeat or recommend to other car buyers.
I wouldn`t recommend Quicks Lincoln again as since purchasing my car, many faults have occurred where, after investigation, it was obvious that Quicks had `bodged` the repair just to sell the car. On the test drive, windscreen wiper were not working, they worked for a month afterwards and i found out they hadnt replaced the wiper motor but just cleaned it out in order just to get it working a little while longer. Drivers rear seat panel, bodged with glue which eventually fell off, needs new panel. Drivers side headlamp bulb retaining spring missing, held in with a piece of cloth. A/C only worked for a few weeks before packing up. I dont expect this from a car which cost me 4k and all happened after the one month guarantee ran out, so if you REALLY want to buy a car from them then get the longer warranty package. I had to put NO on recommend but the cars are cheaper than anywhere else so would say only buy from these if you get the extended warranty.
I experienced poor customer service at the Lincoln branch. I had to ring them up several times to prompt them on dealing with my purchase. I also felt that I was dealing with anyone who was available at the time and this showed in the lack of knowledge from each member of staff on the current status of my deal. After agreeing to purchase the car on the day the salesperson mentioned that they could have the car ready for the end of the week. I agreed on a later date as I was not able to pick it up due to work commitments. The evening before pick up day I received (the only call from quicks) explaining that my car wouldn't be ready in time. I said this wasn't possible, so I had to force an agreement to take the car away partly ready and return it when suitable. I found the whole process with quicks stressful. I also had to ring quicks at a later date to retrieve a copy of the mechanical work that had been carried out in our agreed deal.
I recommend Quicks in Lincoln because it was the fact that they picked me up from the station, they really did above and beyond. Everything was done that i could have asked of them. My real review rating is a 4.5 but you cant put that on this review site.
