Where to even begin with these con artists ... Bought a car that was supposed to be 2L turned out to be 3.5L , they claimed it was a honest mistake which I forgave them for. Didn't inform me that the car was a hardtop convertible only for me to find out the next day the roof wouldn't go back up once it was down, called them and they said an electrician would be sent down , what they actually did was not pick up my phone calls for the next few days. After about a week the engine management light comes on and I find there is a major problem with the intake manifold and one of the cylinders is misfiring ( cost around £1000 to fix) . Again , ignores my phone calls until I'm forced to pay him a visit . I have attached a link of the conversation that i had once i noticed the light come on (before I had the problems diagnosed). I called RAC warranty only to find out the garage hadn't actually logged my warranty with them . So they are offering warranty when buying a car and then not actually providing any cover what so ever. He tried to claim their was no warranty once he made the sale because he knocked a few hundred of the price ,but he had written on the receipt that i had 3 month warranty with the reduced price of the car, notice how he squirms once I point that to him and he scrambles to ask me a question which is irrelevant . He tries to blame my driving that has caused the issue after a week of owning it . Please listen to the voice recording and judge for yourself but i would advise not getting involved with these people, I'm convinced they would slap their own mothers for a few quid . Their is a good reason why this garage is not under the regulation of the motor ombudsman ,they don't even try to hide the fact they are as dodgy as dodgy can be.
