Sold faulty car, unauthorized usage, and now ignoring me Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ I strongly advise anyone considering buying from Rawdon Motors Limited to look elsewhere. My experience has been a total nightmare. I purchased a Kia Sportage (MA18 XBO) from them, and within just three weeks, a major coolant leak became apparent. I returned the car for repair, and this is where the service went from bad to unacceptable: Unauthorized Usage: They kept my car for 8 days, and when I got it back, I discovered they had put 350 miles on the clock without my permission. This is professional negligence and a total breach of trust. Failed "Repair": They claimed the car was fixed. Within days, it was losing one litre of coolant per day. Serious Engine Fault: As there are no external leaks, it is clear the coolant is leaking internally into the engine—a catastrophic fault that any professional dealer should have identified. I believe they were fully aware of this issue and attempted to cover it up. Ignoring Legal Rights: I have attempted to reject the vehicle and claim a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 on numerous occasions via letter and email. Mark Lawrance and the team have completely ignored all correspondence. They have left me with no choice but to initiate legal action to recover my £9,995 plus expenses. Save yourself the stress and the money—stay away from these guys.

Despite agreeing to replace the defect vehicle Rawdon Motors supplied I am still waiting. I still have to chase the owner Mark but get the same excuses and no progress. Awful experience and wish I had not tried to help them manage repair costs.

Owner Mark agreed to a replacement vehicle but am still waiting. Nothing but empty words when I constantly chase for updates. If I enquire about stock vehicles am told they are sold or not available.

Went in just for a look and eneded up putting a deposit down on a car which had very low milelage for its age and imacculate inside and out .this place has a releaxed atmosphere whilst looking around nice not to be hounded by a pushy salesmen. Overall very happy even more so when i collect the car 😁

I would strongly advise you avoid this garage if you don’t want to be strung along, conned or racially abused. I came to view a car which had been advertised as having ‘full service history’, but when I asked to see it, it transpired that the previous owner had not yet passed it to the garage. When the manager, Mark, did eventually track down the service history, it only had MOT receipts and around four service receipts despite the car being almost 20 years old. After I raised the issue, the Mark became very aggressive and started threatening me with legal action, saying he would take me to court and spend whatever it took as he had ‘more money than I would ever have’. But more worryingly, he said that if I had been ‘Pakistani or Asian’ I would already be ‘outside face down on the concrete’ for having wasted his time. I recorded this conversation on my phone, as I had been warned that certain members of staff had been threatening towards customers in the past. However, I didn’t expect the language to be so foul and racist. If you are looking for an honest garage who will do their best to help, this is about as far from that as it’s possible to get. I hope no one else has to go through this experience and I strongly advise you steer well clear.
