AVOID!!!!! Bought an M-Class from this dealer last week, got half way home and could smell diesel. Then the "oil high" warning indicator came on. Injector rods had gone! £k of repairs later and guess what, the dealer didn't want to know! Either he knew their was something wrong with this car or he hadn't tested it! Outrageous! I haven't bought from a dealer in 20 years, too many bad experiences, Ialways buy privately. I was looking for a certain car and Redwood had an example in stock that looked exactly what I was looking for, so I called in. The owner is great, no hard sell and friendly. I bought the car and have been running it for the last 6 months. The car is excellent, exactly as described and just passed the MOT last week with no problems. Bought a Vauxhall Astra from this dealer about 2 weeks ago... the car was as described and drives superb not had any problems.. very HAPPY with the service the staff was very friendly, professional and helpfull and did not waste any of my time with swift responses to any questions i had about the car. 5 STARS ALL AROUND... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER BEWARE AVOID !!! I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee £2000 from this company 7 days ago, Within 1 day the engine management light was on with a fault code PO720 (transmission) The car went immediately into limp mode, I put the car into reverse to turn round to go home as I was 40 miles away from my address and the gears went completely the car would not move. I rang the company to be told the owner was not available and I would have to wait to be contacted, After an hour and a half it started again I took it home. I had to keep ringing the company to get a response, I stated that under the consumer rights act I had a right to full refund as I was within 30 days of purchase, The owner said he had to go away to read the LAW ! with the 10 years experience he states on his web site you would presume he knows the law ! I waited another day before I got hold of him again he said he would refund the next day and I should bring the car in at lunch time. The next day he rang to say no funds in his account yet however I paid by debit card so I rang my bank to confirm he would have received funds, I rang him again and he proceeded to tell me the way a PDQ machine and business banking works however as an owner of 2 businesses and a user of PDQ I did not need this info, He again stated no funds and said I would have to wait till the next day and he would ring me in the morning with a time and he would give me cash, He did not ring I rang him at 11.30am he told me to bring the car, I arrived around 12.30pm no cash instead he took the car for a TEST RUN he had someone else in the office posing as the owner telling us that if it was a gear box fault they would refund to card NO CASH however he came back from test run and said the car was fine NO REFUND we showed photos of car with engine light on as we were driving it and again stated the refund term of 30 days after approx an hour and a half (all of this time the other person was talking as if he was the owner even though he had jumped out of the BIG chair when he came into the prefab) he said he would refund with DEDUCTION of £200 we refused we protested however to no avail eventually we got a refund with a DEDUCTION of £150 he said for ADVERTISING even though we had lost in excess of £200 on tax, insurance etc: ALL IN ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING BUT CON MEN AND I STRESS DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM the car is back on their web site for the same money £2000 this is the description I copied and am pasting £2,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD Limited Station Wagon 4x4 5dr *S/H*LEATHER*AUTO*2 KEYS*MOT* Model Year: 2002 (52) Fuel type: Diesel Mileage: 117,354 Transmission: Automatic Engine size: 2.7L Colour: Black PART SERVICE HISTORY. Travelled 300miles by train to buy my BMW from Redwood motors & as the car was a budget car getting an accurate & honest description of the car over the phone was crucial. Thankfully, the car was just as described & I found the sales manager very pleasant & easy to deal with & i had a good test drive before parting with any money. Also sending pictures of the condition of the car, service book etc before hand was no problem & the car didn't miss a beat on the 300 mile journey back home!

I bought a Lexus IS 200, off this dealership. Prior to that I searched everywhere for the best car on the Internet nationwide and was prepared to travel anywhere, this was the best car for the best milage and best condition. Because I was travelling from london I wanted the dealers word that the car was worthy of the 3 hour train journey, which he gave me. On arrival I met one of the mechanical guys there who ultimately sold me the car. He was genuine, friendly and knowledgable. Four months later I'm writing this review. As an engineer myself I would fully back this dealership and have no second thoughts as to recommending them to anyone else. Do extensive research on the car you want and you wont go wrong.

Do not buy from Redwood Motors. Giving them a 1 in the review is to high for this company. Sold me a car with oil leak, said he would fix it put silicone on it as temp fix. clutch went within 3 weeks, now wont refund money or cover cost of repair. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY FROM HERE!
