I purchased a BMW 3.18i (reg:MK10WFZ) from Reedley Car Company on 06/05/2016. The car was advertised as having 1 owner, and being HPI clear. I did an HPI check on the vehicle and found it had 3 owners, not counting myself, and also a mileage discrepancy and also a number of codes stored in its onboard computer, not a number of check engine likes stored in computer.. I went ahead with the sale as I was told that the discrepancy would be cleared up in 3 days, the discrepancy is still there 11 days on. 2 days after purchasing the car I found to my horror that the car had a number of check engine lights stored in its memory, I had the codes cleared, but 2,came back straight away (2EF7-DME: Map Thermostat, activation...30C1-DME: Engine Oil Pressure Control Static), these code do not throw a check engine light, you might want to google them like I did to find out more. I personally rejected the car and got a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Reedley Car Company were fantastic, they were very forthcoming when I asked questions about the car, they pointed out all the good and bad bits and were happy for me to test drive more than one car. They were patient, helpful and I would absolutely recommend them.
