I purchased a used car (five years old) from RG Motors in November 2018, for £3300. Upon collecting and beginning to drive the car I noticed a number of issues that had not been apparent upon test drive / purchase - a liquid sound when accelerating, judder when driving at high speeds, malfunctioning boot, broken back windscreen wiper etc. I returned the car to RG Motors, requesting that they address the liquid sound, judder and boot issue and was advised, after a long day of the car being in the garage, that these were all resolved - sadly, they were not. I was keen to keep the car so have to date spent a reasonable sum on rectifying the issues myself - £169 for a full service (which resolved the liquid sound, windscreen wiper etc - I would have thought that these would have been picked up in the service performed by RG Motors before purchase), £73 on a new rear tyre (which resolved the judder when driving at high speeds) and £72 on an auto electrician's time to fix the boot malfunction, which turned out to be a wiring issue. I fully appreciate that when buying a second hand car (or even a new car, in some cases) that there can be issues, and that issues with cars can develop, however the issues / expense that I have experienced / incurred to date (which could not be covered by the warranty provided with the car) mean I would not favour RG Motors for buying another second car moving forward.

Very pleased with my experience at Rg Motors Ltd the person responsible (sorry he was to busy to catch his name) for servicing my car and fitting my new tyres was very polite and professional even though I had lost my alloy wheel but he managed to sort it and replace all my nuts free of charge! Excellent service from them

I bought a car from RG Motors just recently and I found them to be professional and honest. The cars are reasonably priced and I think, have been carefully selected to give the best balance between profit for the seller and value to the customer. The workshop is clean and organised and all the staff were very polite with me. The very interesting display of original Raleigh/BMX bikes hung on the walls shows to me anyway that the owners at RG motors take pride in what they do. If you have a very tight budget and are in need of an honest car then I recommend you pay them a visit.
