I bought my car from Robins & Day Newcastle so can't comment on the sales team at Gateshead. However, I have used the Gateshead branch several times for services/repairs. The first time I went there they only half serviced my car - I had left it there all day for a service and when I went to collect it, they discovered that they had forgotten to finish the job. I was also dissatisfied with the treatment I received when trying to book the car in for a repair. Robins and Day have no regard whatsoever for their customers and seem to think nobody goes to work and that everybody can just pop in anytime. Having booked my car in for a Friday because I had a day off work, I do not appreciate being told three days before that the part is now not available until next week - and that they want payment in advance!!!!!!! Robins and Day also seem to think it's acceptable to completely ignore emails from customers. I have tried contacting them on numerous occasions through the contact form on their website and got absolutely no response. Trying to contact them by phone is inconvenient due to the ridiculous number of options to go through.
Highly recommended this garage salesman Charles was not pushy and went beyond his duty to find my ideal car I really appreciated all his help and knowledge . I got a great deal very happy thank you Robins And Day Branch Lovley Hill Road Gateshead.

Made an enquiry about a car I was interested in and wanted to be contacted by e-mail. 3 days now and still no response from Robins and Day in Gateshead, so Evans Halshaw it is then. I thought they were in business to sell cars, cant do that if you ignore the buyers.

I bought a new 308 from Robins and Day because my 2 yr old 208 had a fault which to thiscday the garage has never told me what the fault was! I reiterated that the 308 wasnt a stop and start car i was informed it definitely wasnt BUT of course it was! I was sold it with 3 years free servicibg and then after the 1st service i got a bill.Trying to sort this out has been horrendous both with the garage from the sales man to the general manager Doug AND Peugeot itself. Being talked over and a terrible manner they are just not bothered once theyve sold you a car! I will never purchase a Peugeot again or any car from Robins and Day. BUYER BEWARE the best thing is go somewhere else!
Robins & Day in Gateshead sold me a terrible car. My advice to anyone is to never get a peugeot. I got a 207 cc they had it more times than I have.
Absolutely brilliant guys at Robins Day in Gateshead. The salesmen were were very nice and would go the extra mile to help. On the day of purchase my little boy was getting very restless and agitated because he wanted to go home so one of the salesmen brought him a toy car to play with and he was over the moon! I bought a Peugeot 208 and I haven't had a single issue with it up to now, I have had it since April. I would recommend this dealership to absolutely anyone they are fab.

I honestly couldn't of bought a car any easier, picked out the one I wanted within half an hour and picked it up within the week. This Robins & Day dealership were spot on from day one I couldn't fault them I honestly couldn't, the salesman didn't give us any rubbish, he called every 2 days to keep us updated. so straight forward I recommend them 100%.

Just wait until you're a year down the line and the trouble will start! I purchased my 308 with free servicing for 3 years and got a bill ive had nothing but trouble and hassle from the salesman to the general manager AND Peugeot itself to get it sorted out! The car was also sold to me with no stop and start i was promised this BUT of course it has! I will never purchase a Peugeot again or any car from Robins and Day Gateshead BEWARE
I found Robin & Day in Gateshead to be excellent, very welcoming and organised, I can certainly say they are one of the better car dealerships I have been to. The car hasn't had any mechanical issues as of yet. I would highly recommend this dealership.
