I will never reccomend Rogers of Brock for as long as I walk this earth. Dangerous cars, dangerous attitudes, they don't care about anyones safety as long as they get coin in their back pocket. Hopefully someone can put them out of business before they kill someone with the death traps they sell.

Late husband had a nightmare with this company a few years back. Suspiciously glowing reviews on the trader site, very similar in phrasing.
We recently purchased a BMW X3 from Rogers of Brock and in all honesty blown away by service! We arrived on the bank holiday Monday around half an hour before they were due to close, on site staff didn’t rush us in any way, valued our car for a trade in, moved the car we were viewing for a test drive and in general made us feel at ease before being told to take the car for a good test drive! We returned 20 minutes later and again not hassled in any way. A deal was sorted with Adam and we arranged to collect our new car on the following Friday with no hitches.
Took delivery of a range rover vogue (2006) on 27th January. Told car would come with a pre delivery inspection and a 12 month warranty. Within 5 weeks the alternator failed - huge job but luckily the warranty company paid out but only for 2.5 hours labour as their computer said that is all it should take! don't take a landrover specialists word for it so it cost us £97. The day after we collected it the rear brakes seized and needed new discs, pads and calipers - this time warranty wouldn't pay. Garage not interested despite the pads being down to the metal so were obviously bad when we took delivery! within 5 days it broke down again requiring recovery back to the landrover specialist to be told there was no fuel in the tank - the sender units had failed and this time warranty would not have anything to do with it. Contacted the dealer who advised me he wanted to speak to his mechanic. Got a call back to say there was a quick modification that could be done! spoke to the mechanic myself and after I explained exactly what had happened he confirmed that replacement sender units and sensors were required - again a massive labour job and the cost was £595. Car needed £1460 worth of repairs in the 10 weeks we have owned it. Dealer did agreed to pay half the cost with the warranty company which was decent of them under the circumstances. However, lost all faith in this car paid £10900 for it. Traded it in at the weekend as I cannot risk going anywhere in it - lost £4000 in 3 months but a hit Im prepared to take for piece of mind. Wish I had never found this garage and that I had read the reviews before going. When speaking with Adam he said 'unfortunately these cars do fail and I have one myself which is always needing some work' no use to me and not something that was pointed out when I was buying it. Save yourself the hassle and money - go elsewhere. The warranty is not all it appears and most of the time won't cover the cost of repairs - especially as everything on a range rover is labour intensive and there computer tells them how long a job should take!

Rang up query whether a car that I had seen was still in stock/ available for test drive. After asking which car I was enquiring about, he asked for my age. As soon as he learned that I was 18 he giggled and hung up. Absolutely appalling.
So I have written reviews on various sites about rogers of brock, because I feel everyone should know what a disgrace they are. I bought my vehicle from them in April 2017, after 2 weeks the car broke down as the radiator had a hole in. After 3 months it stopped working all together as it needs a new engine. Rogers of Brock claim the vehicle I purchased was fit for purpose, because it has done over 6000 miles...and clearly I must be stupid for not realising after 3 months of purchasing a vehicle I should expect to pay over £3000 to fix the vehicle. Absolute joke. My vehicle has been described as Black Death...which isn't great. What also is not great is the fact they will not do anything about it, not a thing. Oh wait, that's not entirely correct, they did offer for their recommended mechanic to have a look at it for me...the one that passed it as roadworthy. Not only that, the vehicle can't be driven, and I live over 100 miles away...as you can imagine, they were not offering to pay for that to be towed. I advise if you are looking to buy a vehicle here, to go literally anywhere else in the world. You'd be better off even buying a stolen car, at least you would know that it work.

Sounds like you damaged the radiator and your problems were from that.
Roger's of Brock are just like any other used car dealership - In some cases you'll get a little gem (and at a good price!) and sometimes you'll buy a lemon which somebody wanted shot of because it needed a whole bunch of expensive work done on it. In my case, I bought something which was in between the two; My 06 plate Discovery 3 has a stack of receipts for thousands of pounds worth of work which has been done recently (EGR valves, new injectors, new compressors) and I checked it thoroughly. I found some faults (3 new tyres needed, driver's mirror repaired with silicone, replace cover for cigarette lighter and a headlight out) which they promised to do... DON'T TRUST THEIR REPAIR SHOP! The repair on the mirror basically consisted of cutting away the silicone, and the cigarette lighter cover was just bodged. I missed the fact that the heated screen only had about 10% of the bars working, the thrust bearing was making a noise, the stereo didn't play CDs and the parking sensors only worked intermittently. The warranty has taken care of the parking sensors, and thrust bearing (which is fine, and what it's there for!) and the garage took care of the stereo but I was a little annoyed by the garage's response to the heated screen. The car was sold as having a heated screen, but when I pointed out to them that it didn't work, they said it was too expensive to replace and politely told me to go away. Other than those issues, everything's good. So, in summary: Know what you're buying. Just like all used car dealers, there are some lemons on their forecourt, and they won't do a great job of fixing them. Be prepared to walk away, and thoroughly check everything.

I am very pleased with the Jaguar car I recently bought from Rogers of Brock. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you for great service. Michael Atkinson.
WAS INTERESTED IN BUYING A BMW Z4 FROM ''ROGERS OF BROCK'' SO I PHONED THE GARAGE EXPLAINING I WAS OVER 100 MILES AWAY BUT WAS PREPARED TO TRAVEL TO BUY THE CAR IF IT WAS AS DESCRIBED, AND ASKED IF I WOULD BE ABLE TO DRIVE IT AWAY THE SAME DAY. ON FIRST INSPECTION ALL SEEMED FINE, SO I AGREED TO BUY, THEN REALIZED THERE WAS ONLY ONE KEY FOR THE CAR, THE PRICE FOR A REPLACEMENT? £150..THE GARAGE KINDLY AGREED TO GO HALVES !!! SO AFTER A FEW WORDS I DECLINED AND WALKED AWAY. HOWEVER AFTER 30 MINS OR SO DECIDED I WOULD STILL HAVE THE CAR AS I HAD TRAVELLED SO FAR, SO RANG THEM BACK AND AGREED TO BUY. THEY SAID GIVE US 2 HOURS TO GET THE CAR MOT'D BUT IT WOULD BE FINE AS IT HAD JUST BEEN SERVICED, WENT BACK TO FIND CAR HAD FAILED MOT AS IT NEEDED REAR TYRES AND EVERYWHERE WAS SHUT SO WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THE MOT.... I GOT NO APOLOGIES FOR THEM WASTING MY TIME .. NOTHING, SO AGAIN I WALKED AWAY DISGUSTED, OUT OF POCKET FOR DIESEL AND HAVING WASTED A FULL DAY. WHY SAY TO CUSTOMERS THE CAR WILL BE FINE TO DRIVE AWAY THE SAME DAY IF THEY ARE NOT 100% SURE IT WILL BE AND SURELY IT IS BASIC COMMON SENSE TO MAKE SURE A CAR IS ROAD LEGAL BEFORE ALLOWING POTENTIAL BUYERS TO TEST DRIVE ???? I CONSIDER MYSELF TO HAVE HAD A LUCKY ESCAPE FROM THIS GARAGE ESPECIALLY AFTER READING SOME OF THE HORROR STORIES ON THIS SITE. **I THOUGHT THE DAYS OF CAR DEALERS LIKE THIS WERE LONG GONE BUT CLEARLY NOT !!!! ** STAY CLEAR IS MY ADVISE, AND MANY OTHERS AGREE ACCORDING TO THE REVIEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staff from Rogers Of Brock in response to SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way but we have been in business for over 30 years and get a lot of repeat business from our customers. We like all of our vehicles to leave our site in a safe and roadworthy state. It was a Saturday afternoon and the customer was told as long as the vehicle passed an MOT then it could leave the premises. The BMW Z4 in question did go for an MOT and failed on 2 tyres and as it was the weekend we were unable to get the tyres that day. After reducing the vehicle a further £200 on the internet the customer rang again still interested in the Z4 but we couldn't give a further reduction, he was not happy and abruptly hung up the phone!! I'm sorry but safety is our first priority!
IAN MUSGRAVE in response to SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
ITS A SHAME SAFETY WAS NOT A PRIORITY BEFORE IT WAS PUT ON THE FORECOURT AND CUSTOMERS WERE ALLOWED A TEST DRIVE !!!
Purchased 2 cars from Adam BMW I series and a dodge nitro at the same time found Adam to be very professional and an excellent deal was completed definitely use them again. Bryan Hurst from the Wirral.
Drove over 3 hours to collect a car which had several serious un-mentioned faults and was not in a roadworthy condition. Did not complete the purchase and would not think of using this company again due to the sheer negligence of the whole experience. Would not recommend at all!!!!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!!
