Don't bother buying from this person the whole exspirience was terrible a complete waste of time

I bought a car from this waste of a place and one of the main belts snapped within 24 hours of picking it up. Lost power steering, battery power and most importantly would overheat within 30 seconds. Rang Mark up and he threatened me and my family that he was "going to send the bruisers round to sort me and my family out.." Absolute joke of a place and ignore of His replies on here and he's just trying to worm his way out of people's genuine problems. DONT GO TO ROUTE 66!

Really nice bloke in person whilst selling you a car but soon ends after that. Sold us a audi a1 said it had a spare key quickly, shoved it in the service wallet when we got home 2 & half hrs away just out of curiosity checked the key it didn't work or fit, wouldn't answer calls so I text him to be told by him company policy is as long as there is one key that's fine, taking advice we were told to pursue this we sent him a letter he refused to sign for it. People please be aware he comes across all nicey nicey.

Brought a Bmw e92 coupe 10 plate back in Jan 2015, coming up to a year now and still can't knock the car nor the service. Was picked up from local train station as I was traveling from Leicester, overall very happy and thought I'd leave this review after reading the rest.

I recently purchased a 54 plate Audi A4 1.9tdi from route 66. The car has covered 139000 miles and I've got to say, it's a great car, tight as a drum and would trust the car to go anywhere I would want to go in it. The company was great with me, I was looking at 3 different cars there and they helped me out with my choice and needs and was patient with me looking at all 3 cars. I'll definitely be going there again when it comes to me looking for a upgrade/newer model.

Bought a car from this dealer has some issues with it came to a agreement and dealer sent me a cheque for money back on the car as agreed car is running perfect and I am very happy with it. Although I would say double check cars before buying

I part exchanged my car only to find they had changed the mileage and had infact lowered it so they could sell it quicker. The car I bought has a faulty clutch, rang Route 66 and told them they sold me a car with a faulty clutch and was told clutch not covered by warranty but my point was I had just bought the car and found the clutch faulty but were not intereted. STAY CLEAR. NOT GENUINE MILEAGE ON CARS IF MY CAR WAS ANYTHING TO GO BY.

Stay clear! I have been in the motor trade for 40 years never seen such a poor outfit as this!!! Buyer beware.

After buying a car from this garage, I only had the car for 24 hours and noticed a oil leak. I took in to a local garage and they quoted me one price. I spoke to Mark at the company and he asked me to get a second quote which came in cheaper. Mark then agreed that if the garage invoiced him he would pay as my car was under 1 months warranty. We left it a couple of weeks then the garage told me that Route 66 Lincs had not paid the invoice and was ignoring their calls. I then called Mark and he gave me false information and said he had paid the invoice. Now Mark is ignoring my calls and the invoice is still not paid. What is the point in stating you have a warranty on a car when they have not stuck to their terms. I would never buy a car from this company again and I will be reporting them to Trading Standards as they broke their terms and conditions and the car was faulty when it was purchased.
