We purchased a new car from Rybrook Chester at the start of July 2023. The sales process was okay, the staff were helpful and courtious. The issues started after they've made the sale. I rang up a few days after picking up the car to enquire about something being missing from the service book and also an App missing from the infotaintment system - three weeks later, two phone calls and three emails later I am still awaiting a call back they said would happen later on the first day! Not the sort of service you expect when you pay nearly £40k for a car!

Phil Hooton at Chester Rybrook gave me a first class experience in the smooth purchase of my new XC60 plus B4. He made the whole process troublefree and kept me fully informed throughout and was invariably cheerful as well as knowledgeable and efficient. On the day of collection, Steve very patiently talked me through the technical aspects of the car and all its new features. He was excellent and not in the least patronising. Thank you Volvo!

Thursday vevening My wife took her volvo for an mot booked in for the next morning.. I followed in my car and en route I haf a puncture. Because there was no tyre in stock the car had to stay. The guys in the service department decided to at the last minute to mot my wife's car there and then. You guys were brilliant and got us back on the road. Thank you again. Owen Woodfine.

Bright sharp salesman backed by appalling management. General manager at Rybrook Volvo in Chester is rude and deceitful but covers his back by not giving paper trail before you part with money. Volvo only interested in sale. Communication with their customer is non existent when you have a problem, everything is on Rybrook’s terms, call backs don’t happen and when it does not the relevant person calls.

We travelled from Ireland to buy a Volvo Selekt here and the process was seamless. We found Pete and his colleagues so easy to deal with. We did have an unavoidable or unfortunate issue with the car 5 months later and once again Rybrook Volvo Chester covered any parts and labour that fell outside of the Selekt guarantee.

You would think this was a back street cardealer the way they operate. Disgusting sales tactics that are borderline criminal in my mind. Lying about prices of car, interest rates and try to con you into giving your car as part ex for well below market value. They try and talk you into submission. Avoid. And sales advisor had no idea about the cars he was selling
