I filled in reserve van on the Saline Motors website on Friday night..I phoned and left messages on mobile phone after hours.. I phoned Saline Motors on Saturday morning from 8.30 and eventually got the boy at 8.53am. I was going to go down after my work in the afternoon. The boy kept saying they won't hold it for me even although there website states reserve..which I did on Friday night. He told me I would have to come straight down so I gave up going to work left my house just after 9..3 hrs and 4 minutes away 168 miles..he text me too be down by midday. I arrived at 12.04 pm ..I already told him on phone I would buy it other than if the engine was goosed where no one would buy it. The van had a car parked in front of it so I thought brilliant. When I got salesman he told me someone test drove it.. He then handed me the keys to go and look which I did and was happy with van .. I then went and seen him again and he told me boy is buying it.. He obviously used me for the boy who bought it too commit 100 percent as he hadn't when I arrived.. Angry and humiliated..I spoke to the boys dad and he told me salesman knew they were coming.. 340 miles..lost half day at work ..left at 9 and home for 4.30 pm what a waste of money and time.. He should never have told me to come down shocking way to treat anyone..how can they be trusted if this is the way they work..covering himself by saying they won't hold van .I was offering a deposit before I left this morning also as I wanted van.. Maybe a lucky escape..
