Bought used seat leon April 2017 sd card for sat navigation missing but card subsequently supplied but does not work after sales at Seat Liverpool have done nothing to resolve the issue.
Attemped to order a motability car through this dealership and can say we've had the worse experience in 13 years of ordering Motability cars. The sales rep misled us, the dealership management knew of ordering issues weeks before they told us and then after their sales rep 'left' and the garage would not honour the arrangements made by their rep. A totally pathetic garage and the worst Motability dealership we have ever been to, and there have been a few! Avoid at all costs.
Worse dealership I have ever used!! I had purchased my seat from another dealership and had came across a problem with ice on the front and rear windows. When I took it in to johnsons seat Liverpool they advised me they had done all the tests they could and couldn't help me any further unless I paid (warranty issue). I returned to the seat I purchased the car from and they found the problem within ten minutes of conducting a water tight test. I would not recommend this branch to anyone and will not be giving them my money for future services or repairs. Poor service and poor attitudes from their staff!
Had two similar experiences to SCOTT1234 with Johnsons although fortunately I didn't buy from them. Went in for a test drive and had to sit through a half an hour sales pitch after which the guy disappeared for lunch. I came back half an hour later and was forced to wait yet another half an hour for a salesman before I walked out. Eventually bought a Seat Ibiza elsewhere for £200 less. Went in to transfer the warranty over and the receptionist refused to do it, then when pushed on the matter became rude and aggressive when he could not enter my details on the system. Dreading having to go in there for a repair under warranty. Nice cars, terrible staff. My advice would be to avoid Johnsons if possible.
I would recommend the old Liverpool Seat but not johnsons seat. The new after sales staff sat there eating while I was talking to them. I bought the car less than a year ago and it was a Seat MII.Took it in for a service I told them that the clutch/gearbox was making a loud knocking noise when the car was stopped. I know other MII owners have had the same problem and have since resolved it but Seat said and I quote. "Do Not Carry Out Repairs, the noises are conditioned by the design of the series. Its only a question of comfort and the parts aren't damaged." Now I'm sorry but it wasn't like that when I bought it and no matter how many times I tried to explain this she kept saying We will not carry out the repairs. I also had an issue with the key lock on the car. Sometimes when you place the key it it will only go in half way which means you can't lock the car. Seat said it didn't do it while the car was in,The woman then said Wait till you can't lock it then we will fix it. Not Happy
