Been today to pick car up sorted paperwork handed keys over unveiled the car gave my wife the new car keys sat in to drive away. Just one minute your 3 cars are now due service. We need £2500 extra before you drive away. Or no deal so no car insurance on the 3 cars taken all private plates off no tax so stuck in Huddesfield out of pocket just 2 of us just taken 2 hours to get cars home. Both sales people not interested at all please please don’t order a car of this company. (Nightmare)

Thank you to SSC in Huddersfield for my new range rover svr. Car was as described and i must say their stock is out of this world! Will definitely be seeing you again for a summer toy. I just need to work that little bit harder LOL!
Visited a few times...but I have seen enough in their 'showroom' to put me off for life. I even refused their free coffee...assuming it to be stolen, fake, ringed and rebottled, accident-damaged or adulterated with cheap ingredients.
So I recently found the car I was looking for.. BMW M2, and I spoke to someone named Martin from the showroom. Martin told me in order to secure the car I was interested in I would have to leave a deposit of £1000. So I paid the company £1000 and thought according to what I was told I secured the car SO SURELY THE CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD TO ANOTHER PERSON?? , Later on when I was about to arrange to drive down from west midlands and pick up the car the car had been sold. SOLD despite my secured deposit on the vehicle. So this defeats the purpose of a deposit. Why would you take a deposit upfront from somebody then have the audacity to sell the car within hours of the transaction. This sales rep is deluded. The company reviews show the bad service they have offered to previous customers. When I spoke to someone regarding this dispute I was told oh it was a system error so why did you take my money,?? Where did my money go?? which car was my money secured to?? There cannot be a system error here folks!! this company is a crook company and the service is clearly rubbish and the people who dealt with me are have diabolically cocked up... DO NOT TRADE WITH THESE PEOPLE FOLKS BE A W A R E!!!

Same happened to me these drug dealers at ssc have no people skills no business manners they are thugs off streets of Yorkshire avoid at all cost u lucky they sold ur car all of the cars are clocked back and have mileage discrepancy or accident damage repaired with stolen parts the police need to stop this network of criminals
Tried selling me a stolen car avoid this place at all costs they are every shady. People who have written good reviews are probably either workers for the company or I don't know but I would stick to better dealers. And the team will probably reply to this comment pretending like nothing is wrong with their company don't be fooled!

Further to my review in September 2018. On 15th October 2019 I had to take this garage to Court which found in my favour and ordered SSC to pay by 5th November. However in breach of the Court Order they have failed to do so. This is a truly disgusting business. Just take my advice and go elsewhere. Bet they don’t respond to this review !!

Jeff, you clearly had a warranty issue which then the warranty company refused to pay once they actually investigated themselves as they said its wear and tear due to the age of the vehicle, SSC still offered you a goodwill gesture even though when the vehicle was sold to you all checks were done by you and you was happy with all, the actual problem you incurred was some time after you purchased the vehicle and we still agreed to contribute towards your repairs but you wanted the whole repair paying. Yes you then filed a small claim against us which we agreed to pay to avoid all legal costs.

COURT RESULT - UPDATE. I intended to ignore your response to my latest review but feel I cannot as, putting it politely your response is misleading .I purchased the car off you and at the time firmly believed the warranty was with you with no mention of any limitation of cover. I was never told that it’ was a separate company, who the company was or of any limit. Even your website shows no limit of cover on the warranty. How many customers have bought cars off you in the belief they were covered unaware of any limit. Anyway you ignored two letters from me, put me through all the stress of preparing for, travelling, to and taking a day off work to attend court. Finally, 18 months later argued against me in court. You didn’t avoid costs, you were ordered to pay them and even then despite being given over two weeks to pay, still paid late. When I was looking at the car prior to purchase you described it in wonderful terms, then in court as ‘part worn’ etc. I have retained all the documents should you or anyone wish to review them. The saddest thing is, I don’t often buy a car and I really wanted to leave a positive review.

Unfortunately for us this is something that Urfi the general manager who actually sold you the car should have dealt with in a professional manner and responded to your letters, he should have made all clear with you regards warranty etc. Let’s put this behind us now as what has been done has been done , pls enjoy your vehicle and not let this dishearten you for the future

You should send the bailiff in to them . They ripped my 70 year old friend off and sold him a shed . It cost him 3k to put the car right

Been buying cars from Shaks Specialist Cars since 2010. Great level of service even though I buy some of their lower priced vehicles! Love walking around their showroom looking at all the supercars. Awesome cars with great service!

Shocking customer service from Shaks Specialist Cars, all via text messaging was interested on the Audi s1 they have in there stock now was on at 21995 was bought 4 months ago traded back in with a extra 4500 miles on clock and listed it for same price telling me the lad got bored of it already the place is a scam avoid that blue s1
