We bought a Mercedes Benz from him, it cost us 15,000 pounds with trading in our own Jager. We drove home and realised Car got problem! He said: we cannot return the car for refund. ( YOU HAVE RIGHT TO REJECT THE CAR AND GET FULL REFUND UNDER 30 DAYS UNDER CPMSI,ER ROGJTS ACT.) We agreed he will repair the car and we will keep it. He ask us to take to the garage and he will cover the cost including the taxi, bus, and transportation fee. we even have to drop the car back to Birmingham from Brighton with 2 kids again. I called many time to ask him to pay for the fair. Then I RECEIVED A RUDE TXT FROM HIM: "Desist your taxi fair will not get paid any quicker The more you call or text p.s. withheld numbers are not answered". So I asked him when he will pay us, no reply. It is not big amount money, but he has lost credit as bussiness man.

Very pleasant and friendly traveled for 3 hours got there late at night to view q7 was offered a very fair price for my car pleasure to deal with no pushy sales at all wouldn't be afraid to deal again lovely people.

I very nearly bought a car, I asked for the car to be professionally valeted as the roof lining was dirty, He said and i quote "do you realise your buying an old car"!!!! Then he put the phone down on me and wouldnt answer my calls, even though he had a £200 deposit which he refused to return. Dave the Salesman needs to remember the ratio two ears and one mouth so that he listens to his customers. When i rang him on a hidden number he eventually answered, i asked him what the problem was he just said i dont like you!!!!! So buyer beware!!! A very strange man.

Shirlton Car Sales response to Paul Stevenson of Oldham. We encourage reviews and will always take on board comments made as the future of our business depends on them. With regards to this particular review, can we firstly state that you have not actually followed through and purchased a vehicle from ourselves? The said vehicle you viewed was a 129,000 BMW Diesel Estate registered in 2005 in above average order with full documented service records and new MOT and just 2 Owners priced at £3500. You drove the car for in excess of 30 minutes alone in order to test it fully and returned offering no objections. You decided not to go ahead with a purchase at that stage, stating you had more to look at. No sales tactics or leverage was used to encourage a decision and we remained professional and polite throughout this process. You called a member of staff that evening and offered us £7000 for £9800 worth of goods (the BMW and a Caravan we had on sale). We declined. After the refusal of the above offer you wanted to commit to buying the BMW only with extended warranty FOC and discount plus a re-clean. We agreed a deal based on your terms without further negotiation and placed that in writing. Both parties were happy to proceed at this stage. The day after you confirmed the order you phoned several times with different agendas and stating you wanted a “full professional valet” at a cost to us of £70. We declined the request as the car was already in a situation of been valeted at our usual contractors and we also responded by visually assessing the car which had a full length panoramic glass roof, with very little roof lining on show. You phoned us again whilst we were dealing with a further five customers on site and told us that “the customer is always right” plus “you should treat me like chocolate” and “you need to have two ears and one mouth” also “I am dealing with con artists” amongst other comments which were all responded to by offering you the option of cancelling the transaction if you were not 100% satisfied with our actions or processes. We took the unusual step of stating that on this occasion it was probably best if you didn’t go forward as we could only work in logical processes and that 99% of customers are satisfied with our said procedures. If this is the type of comment we receive when we advise somebody to shop elsewhere then we will look at our internal processes and try and understand customers with your requirements in a more apt manner. We wish you and the garage that does sell you a used car all the best for the future.

It all sound very plausible, David Vann of Shirlton Car Sales Cannock, however untrue and incomplete, after taking my £200 deposit which you have still not returned, you then proceeded to put the phone down on me and not answer or return my calls. To add insult to injury you then proceeded to send the first of three Very strange text and emails. The first saying: Waiter a bottle of you finest £200 goes a long way!!! the Second (after you had read my review of your Appalling Manner and lack of Service) was a simple text saying CRY BABY!!!! And the third the morning after the said meal saying CRACKING MEAL LAST NIGHT!!! all Available to view in court if we have to go that far to get my £200 back!!! And even after ALL this nonsense I rang you on a hidden number because you were not answering my calls and partly because you had my £200 and you were still Rude and Strange, You said and I quote!!! I DON'T TAKE TO YOU so just Come down pick up the car so I never have to see you again!!!. This was just before I was about to get on the train to travel 3 hours to pickup the car!!! I took the decision not to travel because Shirlton had offered a 3 month warranty on the car and when people become Strange you never know how far the rabbit hole might go and if the warranty would be honoured!!! The bottom line is David Vanns Rudeness instilled doubt in me!!! I liked the car, however the lack of Service, Strange texts and Rudeness were and are unforgivable. He hasn't even had the decency to contact me to make amends, so I stick my my review. Buyer Beware!!!!
Immaculate condition of the Ford Fiesta ST I bought from Shirlton Car Sales. All staff were helpful and friendly and the transaction was easy. Will definitely return for my next car whenever that may be!
