Purchased a Mazda CX-5 from this company a month ago. Within 48 hours or driving off the forecourt, the engine light and a number of other warning lights came on. The car also lost power on the motorway and wouldn’t go higher than 40mph at 3500rpm. I took the car for a diagnostic test at an independent garage and it came up with 2 pages worth of issues, and was told the car wasn’t safe to drive. I took the car back to the garage and after finally accepting that I don’t want the car repaired as I had lost trust in them, they agreed to a refund. They said their policy is to give the money back within 21 days, and lo and behold, 21 days has passed and they haven’t refunded me yet. I have called and emailed them on numerous occasions and they keep lying to make me go away. On top of this, they put the car back up for sale the same day I returned it. Not only is this illegal as the car is still mine until they refund me, it’s also wrong because they’re aware of the problems and not fixing the car before selling again! Also not disclosing the issues in the ad. Absolutely avoid.

Stay well away from SRM MOTORS. I can't believe autotrader has them on their site. Srm motors are liars scammers thieves and sold me a car with a fake mot. I have reported them to DVSA
