The team put me at ease immediately and applied no pressure in their sales despite my circumstance. I was allowed plenty of time to check the car over and to test drive it. I’ve now had my new car for 2 weeks and found no hidden problems, in fact in drives like a dream!I would not hesitate in recommending buying from St Albans Car centre, you are buying with confidence as all cars are RAC approved and the team will strive to meet your requirements. Yes...I'm reviewing a car dealership and what a welcoming place it is. My salesperson was Robin, who didn't appear immediately, which I found very refreshing. I had no particular model of car in mind, but rather a particular price I wished to pay. I wanted an economical / eco friendlier car, sound coachwork, good clean interior and a cosmetically pleasing style. The mileage factor was also important in my search. I thought this was a tall order and I'd be looking for months, how wrong I was! Not only did I find the right car (Toyota Yaris), there were three other cars that were all candidates, so it was just a matter of 'fine tuning' my requirements. The quality and condition of the cars in this dealership is superb. Robin was polite and respectful and made the whole buying process seem simple. Professionalism at its finest... I would highly recommend St.Alban's Car Centre and I'm sending my family members to the dealership, as I'm so impressed. My daughter has already purchased her car from St.Alban's Car Centre too.

I dealt with both Robin and Andy when I purchased a Nissan Note this week. They were both helpful and courteous throughout. Robin even pointed out some slight damage to the car which they repaired prior to me taking delivery. They also helped with the finance and car tax administration. I have no hesitation in recommending these people.

I have recently been involved in the purchase of a used bmw 1 series car from st albans car centre,i note from an earlier review that they (no name) were treated poorly by robin,firstly I have over the years bought several cars both new and used and I can honestly say that I have never been treated better,on arriving on site I was met by Robin who invited to have a look around and should i need any help he will be in the office,i took my time looking over the car I was interested in,i asked Robin if he would unlock the car which did and said feel free to start her up,we then went for a test drive where Robin ran me through the basics of the car,he said the car would be thoroughly checked and VALLETED ,before it would be sold,we agreed the price and was to collect the car on Saturday,on collection Robin informed us that the front and rear break pads had been renewed as they were worn more than he deemed acceptable (we were shown the old pads ) it required a second key and this was ordered by Robin fom bmw at no cost to us,the car also did not have floor mats,Robin once again supplied these at no cost. we collected the car on Saturday as agreed at a time that suited us,when we arrived I can only say that the car was just perfect, in showroom condition.I cannot thank them enough we are absolutely delighted with our purchase,I would like to thank Robin and also Andy who also helped,i will definitely recommend St Albans Car Centre to family and friends .Thank you again to Robin and Andy.

Pls avoid this man named Rob ( not sure if that's his real name)! Went to see a 9 seater Nissan Primaster and got humiliated and patronised by this person. There were a lot of issues to discuss but we only mentioned that we were not expecting this vehicle to be in such an awful condition ( it was nowhere close to being presentable in spite of pre informing him and rescheduling the viewing)..sad to say not only did we waste our time but it ruined our whole evening. .my husband had to arrange an early leave from work considering it was 37 miles away and I had to travel with my little one..Rob/Rav started challenging us, shouting and even slammed the car door shut on our face just cos we said we dint expect it to be this poorly presented. .imagine what would have happened if we had said we have wasted our time...I feel sorry for the staff who work there ..recommending my family is out of the question ..i would never ever want anyone to have am experience like ours. ..may be it was just our bad luck or may be he just dint like us but either ways a business should be handled by a professional not some unprofessional, short tempered being who doesn't know how to deal with another being to start with. We could have acted the same way or overreacted as we were the customers and we travelled 37 miles to waste our time n money FYI but it wasn't worth it..hope he reads this review n never ever treats anybody like he treated us. Do not judge ppl with their background, business amount or the car they drive. .we really wanted the van hence rushed into this garage..wish we had never ever seen this car..
