Let me start by saying if I could give minus stars I would have!!!!! This used car dealer is a liar. The car I bought had an issue before I bought it, which he told me it was a minor fault and he would fix it. I believed in this used car dealer Don and waited for the fault to be fixed and then I bought the car. When what I thought to be a minor fault re occurred I didn’t get it seen to straight away due to ill heath. When I finally had the time to get this ( what I thought to be) minor issue sorted out, I went to my local Volkswagen dealer and was going to pay for this myself. It turns out that the original fault was a much bigger fault than this used car dealer had lead me to believe and this fault had re occurred in his warranty time. It was a control panel which costs about £1000 for just the part. Don went for the cheaper option of just changing a battery to be able to switch the warning light off. Once Volkswagen confirmed that this was not a minor issue I contacted Don to tell him that the issue had re occurred and it had happened in the warranty period as confirmed by Volkswagen. He offered to pick the car up and take it to the garage where they had the work done before. I requested for the work to be carried out by the Volkswagen dealers where the car had been diagnosed with the real problem. At this point Don seemed to get very frustrated, angry and loud, I was told that I shouldn’t have taken it to the Volkswagen dealer and that I should have let him pick the car up. Then he continue to send text messages to say that he would pick the car up and have it repaired at the same garage that he used before, then he said he would contribute to the work and leave it with the Volkswagen dealer. early the following morning I had a text to say that I’ve had the car for six months and I have not contacted him and it is not his problem. I told him the reason was due to my ill health and believe that this Re occurring fault was a simple fix and that I was willing to pay for it myself. This man is not a man of his word, how can he choose to not help when it is clearly down to him? I bought the car in good faith on the 9th of January 2025 the fault re occurred on the 23rd of March 2025 in Don’s warranty period. Volkswagen diagnostic only fix to correct the re occurring issue is to replace the control panel. The reason Don didn’t want me to take my vehicle to the main dealers is because the real issue was diagnosed.

Bought a Mercedes a class from stormont motor co dealt with don very helpful professional service gave me a great deal on my old car had the car put through an AA inspection which gave the car a five star rating after owning the car for 5 weeks I had one small issue with an abs warning light on the dash after contacting don he was very quick to help and sent me to a local garage to me where bill was very quick to diagnose the problem and fix it. It was a sensor that Don replaced under warranty for me five stars from me highly recommended .

I bought a van that was advertised as a CAT N turns out it was a CAT S. Nothing but problems. Completely ripped off.

Sir we repaired your vehicle we did not rip you off The people you took the van too fitted a used failed turbo unit You never came back to us But with respect we repaired and replaced at cost price the facility parts fitted by your mechanics You personal emailed snd apologised to me and Bill That helped you out I find your review out of date snd not helpful Why send a review after all the help and work we did to repair and change the work that was done by your mechanics

I would of left it with my review but your response is so full of lies you've got my back up. I see you choose to brush over what my review actually said. You sold me this van which was advertised as a cat N but was really a cat S. When I asked Bill about it he said it had some side Panel Damage which was why it was written off, he assured me there was nothing structural. I need to take some responsibility myself because I should of done my own checks. I'm used to using reputable garages, which is why I didn't, so your my first experience of a cowboy car salesmen. As for you doing the repairs at cost is the biggest lie of all. Bills words were as you took the van somewhere else's you've given Don, a golden ticket not to have to do anything. so I had to pay Bill over £1000 to fit a new turbo, far from cost,(which I've been told by a garage it needs to be replaced again along side the DPF issue which has been going on since I got the van). I hope People read this and stay well clear of you.
