Just called in today to look at mini clubman my son went inside to ask for someone to show us car which was outside didn't send anybody out to help us which is a pity for them because I was going to spend about £10000 pounds we hung around for about 10 minutes and decided too leave and try somebody who was interested

I had my M5 taken into BMW Stratstone in Leeds, they diagnosed the car as a total loss due to engine bearings failure (and charged me over £1,400 for the privilege!). I took the car to an independant garage who specialise in performance cars, and they couldn't find any engine damage. The found a failed injector causing the piston chamber to fill up with fuel and fail to run. What kind of dealership are you running Stratstone? Do you need to rip off loyal customers to pay the bills? You had the car 3 months earlier for a full service at a cost of over £1,200 - and this is the way you treat customers? I wouldn't trust their engineers with any mechanical work. I have also lost all faith in the BMW brand after being a loyal customer for over 30 years.

My partner bought a 4 series (used) from here at the end of June and the second key was dead - it was returned immediately with all ID required to order a new one from BMW. 6 weeks later and BMW UK have no record of a key order and the dealer is ignoring emails. I would avoid at all costs - Williams or Lloyds seem to offer better service. Lloyds are always superb.

Called in to find out more about the IX3. Nobody knew much about anything. Compare that to Tesla who know what they’re selling and how to sell it. BMW need some training in customer service. Woeful effort today. We won’t be going back to Leeds
First and foremost if there was a rating under 1 star it would be given. I have a complaint that I needed to raise with David Hannam which he was supposed to get back in touch with me but not heard a response for the last 3 days as promised by the staff that I would have a returned phone call to discuss this further. I am very unsatisfied with the way things have been handled. I have had my break pads done and the system shows from their side that I have had front ones done but they were done last year and this time round it was the rear ones needing to be done and this was all confirmed over the phone when arranged and appointment. I have been called a ‘liar’ not in this exact way but quoted my information was wrong and my Idrive system is not right but their paperwork is what they have to go by. I am very annoyed with the way the business has handled this situation. All phone calls are recorded and I will be pursuing this further until I have a satisfactory answer to what’s happened. This is not what a customer has to go through especially paying premium rates. You would automatically think the staff and the business would be professional but this is hardly the case.
Last week I booked an MOT & service for today but when I showed up this morning they said they are fully booked and to come back in 2 days time.

Don’t return calls or e mails. Sold me a bmw 4 series, took my deposit, then told the car had drive train issues. I later found out it was sold to a Mr Graham. Robbie Hagon lies and thinks by ignoring customers they will go away, what a donut. He doesn’t sorn trade ins (v5’s) Management don’t return calls either. I’ll keep posting as many reviews as possible maybe these guys will learn not to waffle & fob of customers using drive train issues. I’ll have the last laugh. Well done for playing this little game. I’ve got Plenty of time on my hands. Entering a contract with someone then not completing a sale? what planet are these guys on! I’m going to let everyone know leaving a deposit means nothing at Stratstone as a dealership.

I got a car from this brunch for my wife's birthday, and while the service received from Stephen who was the point of contact for the purchase of the vehicle was smooth and helpful, the after care and conversation I had with the head of sale manager was dreadful to say the list. The car had start and stop function battery fault prior to purchasing it, which I was told it would be done before it was delivered. Being a customer with BMW for many years I didn't doubt this. Once delivered, the start stop functions was not working and tyre wire was showing on one of the tyre after I took it to my usual local BMW Bowker BMW for heath check. They confirmed battery was faulty which needed changing, and tyre also needed to be changed. I sent this report to Leeds and had more of accusation from the head of sales who was extremely rude, lacked insight of the issues, and blamed the fault and inconvenience on us for now coming to them first. This manager even went on to say, other dealership ( the like of BMW franchise) may advise unnecessary work to get money. This was shocking to hear from another BMW dealership especially when they share the same work values and protocols. I have known by BMW Bowkers for many years and it was saddening to hear this comment about them. Eventually Leeds BMW agreed to pay for the battery and tyre after three days of no car. The cars start stop also now works properly after work carried out at BMW BOWKERS. Overall, the head of sale manager, really need to reflect on his manners and the language he used during our conversation. Definitely not what expected from a person at this senior level! Words like ' you are throwing my offers in my face' , and ' there is no way a car would be released with that condition', you can't return car because it's foggy ' etc... Really bad attitude. What he should have done was trust the report completed from the other BMW dealership and discuss this with them directly and then find out what happened internally. Even Bowker BMW were shocked. This sales manager initially didn't even want to call the other BMW to discuss the issues advising it's not his area of expertise, and I had to do all the back and forth communication until at the end when he spoke to them directly. I would definitely would not recommend this franchise.
