Bought a range rover evoque from stratstone Newcastle and I've had loads of problems with paint work and alloys took me months to actually get it in to be rectified bit got it back in worse state. Apparently Goerge the sales manager won't do any thing else to rectify these problems. STAY CLEAR OF THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY

I wish there was a zero star rating… Absolutely shocking customer services on the servicing side, total incompetence, I will never use Stratstone Newcastle again, in future I will take my car to Team Valley Land Rover

Called in off spec and was told we needed an appointment, made said appointment for the following day. Explained to the sales advisor what vehicles we were interested in and that we would be looking at it as a commercial vehicle. Turned up at our appointment to find out we were going to have a test drive, we didn’t ask for one however it was a nice offer. Things went rapidly downhill after that, after returning from the last test drive we go to the front desk to be handed back our driving licences and a piece of paper with the advisors name and email on!! We told the lady we wanted to see him as we would like to look at prices, she went for the advisor and he quickly gestured us to a table. Asked what colour we’d want the vehicle and how many payments to put down. That was the end of the conversation in his eyes, he then explained he couldn’t give us any prices there and then but would email them over that day or afternoon. He then stood up before we were able to get out of our seats and thanked us for coming, then started to walk away saying “bye”. I have never been to any garage where I have been rushed out the door so quickly. We still haven’t had an email or phone call with prices 3 days later!!!! Even sending an email to the advisor with no response, absolutely shocking service and I’ll never step foot in the place again. We’ll order from another Land Rover garage in future

The 1st car I picked had an engine fault & they couldn’t sell me it, the 2nd car they arranged to be delivered from Cardiff was sold before it arrived at Newcastle, the 3rd car was supposed to be delivered from Stockton, 3 days later didn’t arrive. I never received a phone call from them during this time - I had to ring every time. Then it took 6 days to receive my deposit back. Avoid,avoid,avoid.

I am ready to purchase a car. I have been disconnected twice and waited 5 hours for someone to call me back. I have since purchased a car elsewhere. I wish i worked in a business where i could turn away.

Mis-diagnosed problem with my 02 Discovery made me pay for new fuel pump & battery at £1080. Problem continued then said I ALSO needed to replace the engine control unit >£2k. A simple Google search + call to an independent garage established it was a common fault in the car. The independent (North Eastern LandRover) repaired car in a few hours for a cost of £270 replacing injector seal & harness and confirmed that the fuel pump and battery made no difference. Stratstone rarely returned calls, manager accepted there was issues in one call and would investigate then couldn't be raised again eventually I gave up trying to get some form of resolution or apology. They were either useless in all areas - mechanical, management and customer service. I'm just glad I didnt continue believing them otherwise I'd have spent another £2k, still had the problem, no working car... Or I seriously considered scrapping it which has performed perfectly ever since. Would never use Land Rover Stratstone in Newcastle again.
