The least we could do is leave this wonderful man a review. We had an unforseen problem with a car we purchased recently a few weeks after purchase. Adrian could have easily turned his back, as I'm sure many other dealerships would have, but instead he followed through to ensure the problem was dealt with completely by a specialist garage. He even gave us his courtesy car in the mean time. He made sure we were never out of pocket, and never without a car, so we are so grateful. From the get go Adrian was so friendly and not once a pushy salesman. I would 1000% recommend Stratton to anyone looking to purchase a new car.

I was very impressed by a professional approach to a client by Adrian, Adrian was able to help me choose my car to fit my needs perfectly. The level of knowledge and experience was outstanding and I highly recommend Stratton company for a next car purchase. I will definitely go back there for a next car to purchase to Stratton and this is a second car already we purchased from them. I love my new car, great value for money !
DO NOT BUY A SECOND HAND car from Stratton Motor Company!!! Within only six months of our purchase we broke down six times calling the RAC on all occasions and informed the dealership every time what had happened. We have had to pay out over £2200 in costs which includes a New TURBO and the company refused to help us with these monies because it did fall within the six months legislation but we couldn’t prove that all the problems we encountered were not there on the day of purchase. Instead of perhaps a goodwill gesture and some help towards the £2200 we had to spend they basically wanted nothing to do with it and for us to go away.... we had the car for only 6 MONTHS and they didn’t want to help!!!! We do not recommend this Dealership atall !!! Very disappointed and so upset that we have had to spend out all this money. Our experience has been a total nightmare and very distressing.

Debbie, Thanks for getting in touch, Our response remains the same as in previous conversations and is as follows, I appreciate the Miles has looked after your complaint since he came on board in July, However the car was sold by Simon who no longer works for the business. As before, I would like to add some information to the case. Firstly, I would like to say following our decision not to support your warranty case, you instructed a Regulated Independent 3rd party to investigate your complaint, following on from their investigation it was found that Stratton Car Company had followed all legal requirements, all promises we had made and even gone above and beyond to support you on the issues you had. As we discuss with all customers- its vital to get prior approval to any warranty work before having the work carried out. No warranty company will ever consider a claim after this point - in your case we paid for this on 2 occasions after work had been carried out -you simply just presented us with a bill which we honoured- and on both occasions reminding you of the process. With regards the Turbo, you acknowledged that an engine management light had been present nearly 3 months before the issues began, however you failed to inform us of the issue or indeed have it inspected by another party to establish exactly what fault was present. As such, this voided all warranties on the car as would be the case with any dealership nationwide! I can assure you that there were no faults present at the point you purchased the vehicle, with test drives being undertaken, a mot that was 1 month old at sale. The vehicle was in good condition for a Land-rover which was 11 years old and at sale had done nearly 80,000 miles. We can't predict when issues may arise, but we are proud to say that we support our customers in the rare instant when issues do occur. However if the correct processes are not followed. In this instance, if warning lights are ignored which then results in failure we cannot be held liable when it does fail as we haven't been given a fair opportunity to rectify the issue. Once again, I am sorry that we are unable to assist, however I am extremely confident that we have not only met, but exceeded all promises, legal requirements which has then been fully supported by a regulated independent investigation instructed by yourselves. Sorry this is a long time coming. I just want to say Thank you Adrian for getting a problem with my car dealt with so quickly. I would highly recommend anyone looking fora car to come here. I dealt with Simon fir the sale and Adrian for the after sales. They are the best people I have ever brought a car from. I love my car and it was very reasonably priced.

I bought 6 years ago a car from Stratton ,and just bought an other one. Customer service is outstanding.I've had enough time to look at the car and to test drive it. Adrian was very professional and helpful. When I came back to pick up the car ,it was spotless. This company is very female friendly. I can strongly recommend it. Thank you.
