Absolute scam. Luckily the guy wasn't arsed about me viewing this car. But upon doing background checks, the Citroen DS3 was a previous write off. This wasn't stated on the advert and this is illegal

Spent £18500 on a landrover defender 110 with 12 months mot. Vehicle arrived, first day out and the windscreen wipers failed. i rang Dave who refused to repair them as they were not under the warranty i had the vehicle less than a week and it was clearly unfit for purpose, The whole thing is a danger and been bodged to hide all the faults. Certainly not road worthy and Clearly has a dodgy mot. Phoned up Dave and he' insisted that i return the vehicle at my cost to him as he didn't want my landrover specialist looking at it. As a dealer he is aware that he i responsible for recovering it. the landrover specialist looked over the vehicle and gave me a list of items that required attention again contacted Dave and this time he actually agreed to assist with repairs, a bill for £481-40p sent to Dave and he paid £400 refusing to pay the full amount. To date i am £1800 pounds out of pocket and still having to finish the repairs putting Vehicle into a road worthy condition. Avoid t and t motors at all cost! i have full photographs of the vehicles condition and will be passing this to trading standards to pursue a claim. AVOID AT ALL COSTS had to rate 1 star as there was not a lower option

Partner bought a landrover defender. Dodgy license plate, In an accident we were not made aware of No heating No hazard lights No lights on dash to show speed at night No horn No indicators Unsafe to drive Dodgy mot done The car has had some repairs paid for by us because Dave promised to repair it and we sent an invoice which he underpaid on and so we refuse to do any further work to it for evidence and because why should we pay when he said he would and won’t pay for the work completely or fully refund us. He’s had both options and consumer rights and trading standards have been made aware of his dodgy dealing. Told by dvla it’s illegal to drive as DAVE TROOPS did not pay import fees after importing it to his shop and never made us aware of this. My partner can’t get a v5 for it because of this and has no way to legally drive it nor is it safe to do so. Dave has ignored countless legal letters and countless texts and calls regarding this. We’ve given ample time to respond and will be commencing court action. I strongly recommend you do not purchase from T&T or as I like to call it, thieves and twats motors …. Sue me 👍🏻 See you in court DAVID TROOPS. Reviews daily till you take your finger out your ass and refund everyone you’ve scammed.

Sadly travelled 70 miles to view a vehicle that the previous day was straight and decent low mileage vehicle with 11 months MOT. Got there to find the front ns tyre nearly only the rim, air bag light on and a rusty chassis thats been covered with waxoyl. On the test drive noisey engine turbo lag along with whining turbo. Thanks but no thanks. Guy in passenger seat stated yeh its a bit noisey isnt it i think it needs looking at. Thats a day of.my life I will never get back.

The most awful car buying experience I’ve ever had. Dodgy Dave is a very unpleasant man to deal with. He also doesn’t seem to understand customer rights when buying long distance, and doesn’t make them clear at any point during the sale. Purchased a Vauxhall Astra VXR in July as a long distance sale based on the pictures/description and conversations with the garage, the car looked to be in excellent condition. The car was delivered to my home at a cost of £200 & when inspecting it on the truck I noticed several marks, and that the headlights were not aligned properly and filled with mud debris, indicating the car had previous flood damage. I took the car for a test drive as soon as it came off of the truck, and was bitterly disappointed as it continually cut out on me. It also became apparent the car had been remapped, however this was not stated on the advert. I called Dave and advised I wished to send this back, I was told I should have test driven the car (I’m not sure how when it was attached to the back of a truck) the car was collected, and since then I have had nothing but trouble. Dave had the car back, and was very rude over text messages calling me a liar and telling me the car was not remapped and was not cutting out (shortly after the advert was changed to say it was remapped, bit hypocritical of him to call me the liar) I requested a full refund for the car and the delivery fee (as is my right as it was a long distance sale) however Dave refused this. It eventually had to be escalated to the finance company, who also had great difficulty in retrieving their money from Dave. He then said he would return the deposit for the car minus a £150 admin fee, but not the delivery charge by the end of the week; I pointed out that I was entitled to the full amount and he should not be taking any admin fees from me. Cut to the end of the week & I still hadn’t received my money, neither had the finance company. After several back and forth texts between Dave who despite having the car back clearly had no intention of paying me back, he finally paid me the deposit for the car after I told him I would escalate it to the financial ombudsman. I will be pursuing this with the finance company to also recoup the £200 delivery fee. If you want to be £800 out of pocket for weeks, be called a liar, receive the worlds worst customer service and be bitterly disappointed by your purchase, buy from Dave. If not, I’d recommend you purchase from a reputable business.

AVOID AVOID AVOID I would give this dealership a 0 star rating if it were an option. Not only was Dave rude and difficult on the phone, but he then went on to sell me a dodgy car, covered by his dodgy warranty friends! I'd been in it for 10 minutes when the general warning light came on, and then a further half an hour when the check engine light came as the engine went into "Limp mode". The warning lights had obviously been cleared from the car's computer system before selling it to me, otherwise they would haven't still been on when I started the car. I can't categorically point any fingers, but I'm not a great believer in coincidences personally. Other red flags which followed were: The vehicle hadn't been serviced for over 20,000 miles, the engine oil was critically low (which incidentally contributed towards the main fault according to the mechanic that I had taken it to), the air filter and several sensors needed replacing. The DPF was blocked with thick soot and residue, due to its lack of servicing. Even the basics weren't looked after, it was filthy inside and out and the tyres were down to 25psi, Needless to say, none of the above information was disclosed to me and "Dodgy Dave" even tried to convince me that it passed its MOT with flying colours. Fortunately, I had searched the MOT information prior to even contacting him, so was already aware of the advisories that came with it and he begrudgingly dropped the price for me; which he then added back on with magical delivery fees, AFTER I had paid my deposit. I was assured on the phone that the car was covered by 3 months warranty, so my concerns around having the car delivered without me being able to properly look at it were alleviated enough for me to go through with the potentially risky purchase. In a COVID world, where you can't even test drive a car, this would have to do. This is where it gets fun... When I called the warranty (who's name I won't mention YET), they disclosed that they know Dave really well, which worried me. Then it turned out that my policy wasn't "quite ready yet" and they would have it activated within the next hour, with the documentation emailed over (which was like getting blood out of a stone, and surprise surprise, that email never arrived). They clearly have an "understanding" with their good pal Dave around activating policies at their own discretion. Now, this is an ongoing claim so I won't go into any more details around the warranty, but long story short, they are doing everything they can to not cover the costs, even after explicitly telling me on the phone that they would cover it if I got it to a garage. Yes I have a recording of this conversation and will be passing it on to my solicitors. I know that the warranty company have been in communications with Dave, and funnily enough, I haven't heard a peep from him. What a surprise. These kinds of business practices are appalling enough in normal times but we're in the middle of a pandemic, where hundreds of thousands of people have lost their jobs and are struggling to get by. I do not wish to turn this into a sob story, but I myself was made redundant due to COVID and subsequently lost my house. Shame on you.
