Interested in taking your money and then nothing else, worthless warranties and don`t be fooled by their Gap insurance offer, 3 x more expensive than you can buy yourself on line. Bought car for £8000 , add horrible engine noise that got worse during first 10 days, they did agree for me to take to a Bosch service center due to where i lived, Bosch center replace faulty bearing , only came to £248 , Pitstop said warranty will only pay £114 and as a help they will pay £30 , leaving me to pay £98. Pitstop comment : wew would not have fitted an original Ford part , therefore it would have been cheaper if we done the repair ! REALLY !

We feel the correct information should vbe published on here regarding this customers complaint . The vehicle was purchased from us as stated , a few days after the delivery the vehicle engine developed a noise . The customer was in Redhill and declined the offer of bringing the vehicle back to Taylor-Pitstop, so we could diagnose and repair the fault . due to the fact he would have to drive 8 miles to us from Redhill . We suggested that to get the issue diagnosed quickly he take the vehicle to a Bosch service centre in Redhill closer to him , we advised the customer to get the issue looked at and ask the Bosch service centre to call us with the costs of the repair , so we could get authorisation to carry on . The customer when advised of the problem by the inspecting Bosch garage then chose to ignore this advise , and told the Bosch garage to carry out the repair, Taylors-Pitstop will pay for it , its under warranty . However the cost from the Bosch garage was well in excess of what we as a dealer could mend it for , So we paid the customer the cost of the repair at our labour rate etc plus parts . Had the customer done what we asked him and returned the vehicle to us as required instead of self authorising the repair as he did , we could have avoided all this and an unnecessary negative review . We accept the customer had a small drive belt issue and we are always here to help . .
From the beginning to the end of this deal Joe was absolutely brilliant. Everything was explained in full to me as we went along - if I did not understand anything Joe was always available to explain it again.. From the viewing of the car to the pick up of the car was exceptionally easy. There was even a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for me when I collected the car - nice touch. Thank you Joe for a first class service. Would definitely use Pitstop again.
I nearly bought a blue mini cooper SD convertible ,from Taylor pitstop ,but had the sence toget the AA to firstly inspect the vehicle, there report started with A red cross with the words this car is not fit for Sale.withthis in mind I canx and requested my deposit back,they refused Nov 2019 Colin sharpe

The vehicle was sold prior to our extensive 76 point check , and the report never once mentioned it was not fit for sale . Interestingly when we asked the customer for a copy of the report , they declined to send us a copy , We would agree that the 'air conditioning ' temperature was not up to the level we would accept , however after the gas was replaced and the unit serviced it was very cold. .We realise we sometimes we do not meet everyones high standards and on this one occasion we should have completed our 76 point check and service before the vehicle was inspected . The good news is that it was sold to a lovely couple who are delighted with it , so a happy ending .
My BMW was showing several warning lights so needed to be diagnosed and fixed ASAP. Excellent customer service and a very quick repair service. Cost a bit of money but needed to be done. Thank you Nigel & Stuart you looked after me and I appreciate it.
Beware when buying from this garage and ensure you receive everything in writing before going to collect the car as certain things are forgotten from the negotiating stage. Behind all the usual fluff, just another used car garage with second rate salespeople. Shocking follow up service.
