The Mechanic who is working for TDI Autos Romford is a joke as he carried out a service on the breaks of the BMW which i purchased for my daughter ,he subsequently left air in the breaking system and the fluid was very low, when i took the vehicle back to them making a complaint about the breaks being Spongy they told me they had checked them and nothing was wrong and i basically did not know what i was talking about after driving since i was 17 years old ,I also told them about a burning smell and smoke coming from the engine, Subsequently they tried telling me that someone was missusing the clutch and that i might need to replace it at a £1000 cost..I explained to this mechanic there was noting wrong with the clutch and no one was missusing it , I was totally ignored and treated like an idiot., I also found break fluid all over the drives side front wheel . Subsequently i took the BMW to the actual BMW dealship to get the car checked and a safe check done so i left the car in the capable of BMW for the day . The check was done when i returned to the showroom. They had found quite a few issues which was wrong with the Car . Firstly the breaking system had not been bleed correctly and there was air in the System and the fluid was dangerously low, and the breaks had been Sprayed with a cleaner which had not been cleaned off . Secondly the burning smell that was coming from the engine which i thought there maybe a wiring fault ,appon inspection they found that furniture Polish had been Sprayed on the engine cover hench the burning smell and smoke coming from the car . I am not happy in the least to say and will be seeking legal advice as TDI Autos put my daughter's and granddaughters life at risk with faulty breaks which could of failed while driving this vehicle.

The vehicle in question was a three year old BMW with a registered mileage of 11085 miles at the time of purchase. The vehicle had a main agent service at 9938 miles. The vehicle was returned to us to check a" spongy brake peddle" and an" unidentifiable smell" within a few days of purchase. no mechanical faults were found but we carried out a brake fluid change anyway. We did detect a "clutch burning smell" and felt that the new driver may be keeping her foot resting on the clutch pedal causing it to get hot. We accept that some brake fluid residue may have been left which we apologise for. We do not use" furniture polish" on our engines and have never had a complaint of this nature before.

BMW specialist technician done a full inspection on the car and it was found to have furniture Polish sprayed onto the engine which was causing the car to smoke and the brakes were not done correctly, and the issue was subsequently rectified by the same specialist technician at BMW Romford who also completed a full service and check on the car where it was discovered that the brake fluid was dangerously low, with brake fluid over the drivers side wheel ,and also the clutch was inspected and no issue found ,
Brought a Kia Picanto on 22/1/ 2021 i can’t praise TDI autos from Romford enough, , as at this time we was in lockdown and the remote buying was the best option the delivery was top notch as i live in Surrey and they in Romford the service was very good from start to Finnish , and just wanted to say thank you to Daniel as he was the one who dealt with the sale , but thanks to the whole team , the car is just right and I’m loving it, Would i recommend this company , no problem at all

Bought my daughter a lovely Corsa from TDI at a very good price, weather became cold after 6 months and heated seat was not working. "No problem, bring it in, we'll check it for you". Had coffee next door and they had fixed it before I had finished my drink. Great attitude, great service and a great car. TDI will be my first choice for our next car, they are good people!

What firstly attracted me to this family run company was the fact that they have been trading for so many years. The staff are most helpful and friendly and there aftercare is always available. I brought a Nissan Juke from TDI Autos in 2017. Following my purchase, the car had been in and out of various garages with fault after fault: * Engine management light, that would not stay off even after being diagnosed with a faulty Exhaust Sensor. * Engine Management fault had to be taken to Nissan to have a software update installed. * Air conditioning unit has to be re-charged a couple of months after purchase as was not re-charged prior to the sale. * Car's first MOT due just shy of having the car year, required new rear brake disks and pads as were seriously worn. * Having spent £9,500 on the vehicle should not have incurred in excess of £600 within a year of purchase. I would recommend TDI Autos if you want a trouble free motor vehicle.

We regret to hear of the problems you have experienced with your vehicle, To our knowledge we have never been informed of these issues and would have happily given advice or assistance. It is not unusual for vehicles to require manufacturer software updates, which are beyond our control You have not supplied your name or vehicle details, but it would appear that the vehicle was in your possession for nearly a year before the brakes were replaced.

further to our earlier response we have now traced details of your purchase, The vehicle mileage was 22500 miles at the time of purchase, it had one main agent service (price was £9050 and not £9500 as stated), the vehicle was supplied by us with a full 12 month independent MOT inspection and certificate. The vehicle was also serviced by us prior to collection. The brakes were deemed to be serviceable by both the MOT Inspector and ourselves at the time of purchase, it would appear that you have to replace the brakes some twelve months after purchase, but we have no knowledge of the mileage you have covered in that time. The vehicle has never been returned to us and we have never been informed by you about any issues. we cannot be expected to re gas air conditioning on all cars prior to purchase, but we would have happily have rectified any fault if returned during your warranty period. Likewise we would have rectified any engine management fault if returned to us within your warranty period. We feel that your comments both with regard to our company and the vehicle are unfair and unwarranted
