I bought a car from Tim about 13 years ago, and it was faultless. I went back to him and said I’m 70 and want something that will not let me down and will cover me for all eventualities as I get older. I initially looked at two Minis however, he said he would not sell them to me, as if I had any issue with my knees or back, I wouldn’t be able to get in and out of them. A couple more times, I asked me about a couple of cars, and he said I didn’t have to go that dear to get something that would work for me. He was really looking after me and made sure I got the car I needed, and that would treat me well. I ended up telling him to choose for me, and he recommended the Honda HRV, which I ended up with. I have gone back to him multiple times whenever I couldn’t figure anything out, he would show me how to use everything. I have told him if I win the lottery, I will 100% come back to him to get something a bit more expensive, as I don't trust anyone else.

My experience with Thames was overall quite positive. When I initially test-drove the car, it was cooler, so I didn’t realise the car did not have AC in it and I didn’t test the horn which didn’t work. Otherwise everything with the Dacia has been fine and happy with it.

I have just bought a 2017 vehicle from Thames Valley Cars. The process was quick, easy and stress free. Tim was incredibly helpful without being overbearing and helped get roadtax and all documentation sorted with no issues. They fully serviced and valeted my new vehicle and it appears almost as new despite being nearly 10 years old. I have recommended them to all family and friends, one of whom has already purchased a vehicle from Thames Valley Cars. I would absolutely go back to them for my next vehicle and encourage others to do the same.
