Absolute sham of a used car dealer. Nothing but problems with the car since purchased, no interest in any kind of aftercare or customer service, dismissive, rude and aggressive. You put your trust in these people when interested in a vehicle and they seem genuine but I've never known a company of any kind be so bad once they've got your money. Shameful that businesses like this are allowed to trade and, based on the reviews, get away with this kind of behaviour on a regular basis. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs. There are plenty of used cars out there, so no need to purchase from this load of cowboys.

Purchased a Zafira off them that was 14 years old, 115k plus miles to use as a family car. Car was advertised on Autotrader as, I quote, HPI CLEAR / * MUST BE ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLE'S ON THE MARKET * / EXCELLENT SERVICE HISTORY - SERVICE'S MAINLY CARRIED OUT BY MAIN DEALER ( VAUXHALL ) / MOT'D TILL MARCH 2026 / PRISTINE EXAMPLE THROUGH OUT / DRIVES LIKE BRAND NEW / P /X WELCOME / FIRST TO SEE WILL BUY!! After 8 days, car started to feel heavy and after 9 days the car started making a terrible noise and broke down with a number of kids in the car. I spoke to a garage around the corner who had a brief look and said it may be the cam belt but I needed to return it to the seller asap. I contacted them and was told I would have to wait until after Bank Holiday to speak to a Manager. Then I was told to send an email. Email was sent and I managed to get the car back to my house and a mechanic came to review the car and do diagnostics, at my expense. The report shows various problems and ultimately the car will not start and the DPF is absolutely ruined. I made The Car Warehouse aware of this and they have been argumentative and unsupporting. I was then told via email that they will not support with the issue or offer a refund, as they are legally bound to do under the Consumer Credit Act 2015, as, and I quote - ‘ you cannot now seek to raise any merchantable quality issues when the vehicle was sold as a scrap/non runner’. The car was advertised as £1490 but the bonnet was stiff to open, one of the windows wouldn’t work and the parking sensors do not work correctly so the price was reduced after negotiation. I had my children with me when I got this car and they knew it was to be used as a family vehicle. I am a single mother with limited funds and cannot afford to buy another car whilst I have to pay insurance and tax on one that will not work. No-one would buy a scrap car for £1375, it is clear from the original advert that at no point this was sold as scrap or a non runner and the customer service is dreadful. They also breached GDPR rules by giving us the previous owners full details. We have spoken to Solicitors and are now taking this to a Small Claims Case to get the money back for the faulty vehicle, at my expense. I am left without a car to drive to work or help with my childcare arrangements and this has caused a huge amount of stress on my family. The Car Warehouse also advertise as Jagland and the car advert showed Jagland in the background as if it had been sold by them. I have also reported them to Autotrader and will be reporting this to the Motor Ombudsman. Avoid this company.

Absolute sums up a poor back street garage. Car broke down completely after 8 days and they have never answered any future calls or emails! Now I am having to drive an hour to confront them face to face.
They were very nice till I paid then after care was horrendous. Staff very rude and this which were to be sorted after never got sorted. Within 6 months cost me loads in essential repairs. Currently in garage with timing belt and engine damage. Avoid. Would never go back

I bought a pick up. 2007 pick up so I’d knew there would have been a few minor things wrong. Told them I was on way from Manchester got there and vehicle was in a totally different yard had wait half hour. Said it had flew through mot. had it for 14 days. Wheel bearing has gone abs light on dash. There is a funky smell that I can’t get rid of out the interior. whoever is behind me when I go through aecond and third gear are left covered in black smoke. The pick up is in the garage as I’m writing this. So with out a vehicle. Fast purchase want you in and gone. Still no log book. I’d stay well away

I had the exact same experience took my money then told me it had no logbook bought in October and engine went in December
Had arranged to view a car and drive it home if satisfied. Phone salesman for directions , get there salesman is note even there, nor is car, apparently at other garage. Why not have car there and ready as arranged. Car described as immaculate condition - Not - Back tire flat and driven like that - Then they want to put diesel in a Petrol car - Convertible roof not working - Pop the hood , looks like oil leak - Close hood, does not close - oh the latch is broken so a wasted 04h00 driving there and back would definitely not recommend

Terrible aftercare - sold car with FSH, when received, there was 30k unaccounted for, they told me it had been serviced by them when they sold it to me but took 6 weeks to get the record. I bough the car on a Thursday evening and it was delivered Friday morning, not sure when they got to service it. Then, 4 months into owing the car, the Turbo blew. The local Mechanic I used to fix the car informed me it could of been avoided if the car had been serviced, he stated it was over 2 years since it had been done. Emailed the company to find what support I could get from them, nil response despite following up 3 times with them.
I bought a caddy maxi from them and after all the paperwork had been signed and monies paid I was then told that there wasn't a V5 for it and I would have to apply for ine the ask for the money from them, 8 weeks later and several requests still no reply. As I drove home from Halifax after about 20 miles my engine management light came on so I rang them and he said it could be the DPF probably because the van had been stood for a few weeks and to take it to a dealer to get looked at and go through my warranty, my garage said the DPF was knackered and I need a new sensor fitting at a cost of £750, my garage also said that they had turned the management light off and knew about the fault, I also have a back light that keeps tripping out and now needs the electrics looking at. Stay away from them if you can

Bought a car in January based upon the description both online and on the phone as "drives like new" and "great service history" only to find it needs almost everything imaginable done to it to make it safe and road worthy. When I wrote to them to inform, I was ignored. Car was filthy, drives awful, no service log book, broken keys, dents and scrapes not described or shown on the advert. Just an awful experience.
