Our daughter bought a car from Thorpe Le Soken Car Sales but we dealt with a Richard S Tyce who claimed he used to work for them and they had advertised the car for him as a favour. However, we met him at their address and the car was parked there. They also had all the details on their own website. The car she bought came with a 12 month MOT but when we had it checked at another garage (after we had paid) it failed on several points. We tried to get him to take back the car as is our right under consumer law but he did a disappearing act and they refused to help.

Rubbish!!!! I was unfortunate to buy a car from Thorpe Le Soken Car Sales. I have had no end of problems with the car never has been wright one thing after another, I have asked him to give me my money back after the third attempt to fix the car witch failed, then the cam belt tensioner has pulled out of the cylinder head. he said he would not give me my money back so i got advise from citizens advise, who advised me to wright them a letter witch i did i didn't even get a response. so i was advised to send another letter witch i did and yet again no response. i am now left with a car that is unusable and £5500 out of pocket, my only option it small claims court witch will take months to get my money back.
This dealer is CARSELLUK Ltd t/a Thorpe-le-Soken Car Sales, the company was incorporated in Aug/14. I bought a car from them in Oct/16 which was advertised as having FSH, 6 months tax to be provided and the last service having been carried out April/16. After I had paid for the car and at the time of collecting they withdrew the offer to pay for the tax and I discovered all services had not been done, the last having been carried out May/14. Mr Long had no interest in updating the services and broke contact. There are faults with the car however I do not want anything more to do with this company and will not be testing the "3 months warranty", just wish I'd found this site before finding Thorpe-le-Soken Car Sales!
