After having the van in for DPF repairs for over a week, I went to collect it today. Driving out of the garage entrance, the van shuddered, made a loud bang and ground to a halt, breaking down 100 yards from the garage. It was taken back into the garage by people from the service dept and discovered they had not replaced the 'clips' apparently? I have had no formal confirmation of what they did or did not do for this to happen but I would have thought after various repairs it would have been taken for a test drive prior to me collecting it, and I cannot believe for a second this happened. I got a lift back home again from my partner who lost half a day's work for this, aswell as all the fuel costs incurred from a 2 hour round trip from home. The two women on service dept calls at the Long Ashton branch are rude and unhelpful, the service manager was apologetic about the van, but said "these things happen" and it would be back early afternoon. It still isn't here at nearly 4 o'clock.. I have had to chase them so many times about the status of the van over the last week and for this to happen on collection day is not only very poor service, but potentially very dangerous as I ground to a halt on the dual carriageway stretch of road by the garage which is very busy and fast. I'm sorry to say that I definitely won't be going there again, it's been a bad experience and I see from lots of other terrible reviews that I am not alone. Ford vans are rubbish and so are Trust Ford, Long Ashton.

If I could give 0* I would. The worst experience I have ever had buying a car. To start with we agreed on a Brand New Wildtrak. After placing the deposit on this we were told three weeks after that the vehicle couldn't be sold to us as it was given to retail and not commercial. (First lie) When told we could buy it personally we were then told its not possible as it had been sold. Next we were offered a platinum as a replacement to the Wildtrak which we decided to take. When it arrived at Trust Ford Ashton we were sent a video to show it had arrived and told it had just come off the transporter (Second lie) so it was dirty and will be cleaned but the vehicle was showing 210.7 MILES on delivery. So I questioned this to then be told it had been driven to the dealership. Next issue we had was on the Friday (day of collection) we had a phone call at 3:30pm to say the vehicle had been scratched by the "Valeter" when the vehicle was being cleaned. So we went down to Ford to see the damage. On seeing this we said we would take delivery on the following Wednesday once repaired and pay the rest of the payment then. The vehicle was repaired on the Monday and we were send a video of the repair at 4:30pm to then have a phone call demanding the rest of the payment on Monday by 5pm so only half an hour. Which we said we couldn't guarantee that the payment would show in the bank on the Monday before 5pm. To then be told it has to or otherwise they will cancel the order or charge us £1,000 more!!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had and would tell anyone to AVOID Trust Ford by all means!!!!!!
After booking a prior appointment 6 weeks in advance due to an oil leak within the engine on my 2 year old van, I was advised to drop my van in the night before as they needed it the next day for the whole day. I was told I’d receive a call with an update at 11am. 12pm came and I still hadn’t had an update, I called to chase. 7 calls later, with still no response other than to someone is going to call you back which they didn’t. 5.30pm I finally get told they couldn’t get my vehicle in today because they were too busy, bearing in mind I was told it would be looked at that day. A days work lost and I’ll probably have to go through it all again. Honestly the worst branch and customer service I have ever encountered. During a cost of living crisis, a self employed business owner relies heavily upon his tools and van and this was simply forgotten. 2 working days lost without even an apology. Having asked their complaints procedure to the staff their response was “sorry I don’t actually know, I’m new” still nobody has responded with their complaints procedure.
Extremely poor diagnostics skills. They're nice but just simply not very good. At £120 an hour I'd recommend taking your vehicle literally anywhere else. I took my van in to repair a squeak in the engine. Over 8 months, +£1000 in labour and parts and 8 diagnosis I've had a terrible experience with them. I had to ring and chase them once, sometimes twice a day to get progress. They even once returned the van saying it was fixed, when it clearly wasn't. The final diagnosis was the water pump causing the squeak but they refused free labour at this point. I took it to another garage, who diagnosed it as an oil issue and they fixed it first time. No refund offered. Went down the complaints route and was just simply refused a refund with no decent argument. A very thin veneer of a professional process. If I could give negative points I would.

Vehicle was towed in here after a break down. Now I know their phone system is not fit for purpose and management don't seem to care. I've spent around 3 hours on the phone over 2 days and counting. My colleague spent another hour. Call system goes around in circles and voice message to voice message/ My colleague spent another hour. Central call handlers can't help, Promised calls are not returned. Promised emails are not received. If I could leave minus stars I would. Go somewhere else, anywhere else will be better than this lot.

please dont use them beware the van was sold dirty and scratches and the info on van was diffrent than the one i had they said they just use once that was on system and it turn up unwashed and liter under seats was told lies all the way though deal once they got your money very let down by them all
Bought car for 10k from trustford ashton, was remapped engine knackered up had new one had car on road 6 weeks find oil leak radiaror corrided bad trying mske pay 600 pound director appalling attitude no skills service syaff lied had service when it didnt was part to fail engine kade appalling sales man DO NOT BUY CAR FROM THESE

Tried calling Trust Ford in Ashton for 3 days after 20 calls and 3 different numbers gave up then tried an on line with a chap called Richard, he kept me waiting for over an hour, couldn’t answer any of my questions then said could he have my phone number to call me back straight away 24 hours later still waiting! The worst customer service ever!!!!

I booked a test drive by phone for a stock car, arrived only to be told that the car had not been though the workshop and i could not test drive it. Re booked for trustford Ashton Bristol to bring the car to me for a test drive, they failed to keep the appointment. I rang again, they said that someone was on their way, he was late and we went to another brand, bought a car there and then. My experience of Trust Ford Ashton Bristol has not been great, So, show you care, shop elsewhere, I have a brand new car from another brand.
