We bought a £34000 ford mustang from Trust Ford in Weston-super-Mare at the end of February. Had so many problems including broken brake light, scuffed wheels, damaged rear camera, duff battery but the worst was an old badly repaired boot lid which when I took the car back to let them see it fully expecting an apology and them assuring me they would sort the issue the manager just said it couldn't have left them like that even though anyone could see the repair was years old. I managed to get hold of the previous owner who said it had been repaired years ago. We though going to a main dealer that we would be safer but trust ford have behaved no better than any dodgy back street dealer. If you are going to buy a car from them them make sure to have the car professionally checked over before you leave with it as they won't take any responsibility once you've left.

Trying to communicate with TrustFord in Weston Super Mare about a part exchange is a joke, don't even have the decency to reply. If your not intrested in my part ex at least have the courtesy to reply, who knows i might have just bought the car i wanted for cash. All they want these days is people to sign up for finance . Avoid and go elsewhere, poor customer service.

I have had my Ford Focus “serviced” twice after taking out a service plan with Trustford in Weston. They don’t seem able to do the basics such as an oil change. This year they overfilled the engine oil and I had to pay to have some oil drained out when my car was being MOT’d elsewhere. A lot of damage can be done by too much oil in the engine. Last year was even worse. The car was serviced and a few days later I headed up to the midlands. The oil light came on much to my dismay miles before I got to the M42. I tried contacting Trustford by phone but it was an absolute waste of time. I called the AA and the recovery man found the sump plug lying in the under engine cover. Oil totally drained out.. I had a refund for the oil but they weren’t concerned about checking for any damage done to the engine.. I wrote a complaint letter but also no answer was forthcoming. I shall be visiting them today to cancel the service agreement and a refund of the cost to have the excess oil drained. DO NOT USE THEM,,

Organisation from Trustford Weston super mare was poor. We had booked in to collect the car on a Saturday 3 weeks prior to the date then in the final week Peter called up and said to do the deal on Friday because he was not in on Saturday. Even after giving so much notice and I had resent him the email which stated the Saturday 3rd Nov so I think they were trying to pull a fast one. Car was in a great condition but then it was transferred from the Essex branch and they hadn't had to do anything to it. Spare wheel was missing from the back as were the car mats which clearly showed in the advertising pictures. They replaced the spare wheel with another one from a Kuga in branch so BE WARNED if you buy from the garage. Car mats which they said to me would be posted last week I am still waiting for and so i feel I have paid for a car which Trustford have robbed before handing over. I was glad I found the tyre missing whilst I was there because you cant imagine after the poor customer service that they would ever actually send you one ! Management need to get a grip of this place !! I think local management dont care once they have the cash there is no aftersales support which a real shame. Perhaps try the Cribbs Causeway TrustFord instead

i asked trustford service dept weston super mare if they would tell me if the component, which is rusty, situated on top of the engine is one of the dangerous recall items I found listed on a recall website and if it is the cause of the engine cutting out occasionally. The reply was:... if you want anything checked you need to book the car in for a diognostic, cost over £100. I repeated would you just look under the bonnet it is visible without removing any parts and tell me if it is a cause for a safety concern or causing engine to cut out. He repeated you need to book it in for a diognostic. since having just bought the car from a private dealer i thought ford was best place to go to check the cars fault but I decided to never ever use trust ford weston super mare. I drove from weston to Clevedon trust ford, I asked the same question and a very helpful mechanic looked under the bonnet and advised that the part which is rusty is not a safety recall part and nothing to worry about, but the engine fault would need a diognostic check to confirm fault. Thank you Clevedon trust ford for a very polite and helpful attitude. note I did not buy a car from ford but had to select stars to submit review

Had my car booked in for service and MOT. Pleasant greeting when i arrived and the car was worked on straight away as I was waiting. I was kept updated throughout and the price was a lot less than i had thought a main dealer would be.

Never have I been treated so badly in any car dealership, please please document everything Trust Ford Weston Super Mare say.

Called in & left my contact number, no call. Called 3 times this week, someone will call you back, no call. I will take my money elsewhere.........
