Bought a car advertised as “everything works” sent the money, had the car delivered and it was far from how it was described. Lots of things didn’t work, such a the blind and electric mirrors. The clean MOT was clearly done by a “friendly MOT centre” as there was corrosion on the car and the tyres were bald. Asked to return the car which was rejected, Ben then called me names over instagram before he stopped replying to my messages at all. The cars looks fantastic, but they are not

Brought a fabulous v10 bmw from ben owner of v8 vault and i have to say my experience was very good. Ben communication was good throughout the sale and everything went smoothly. I had a 5 and half hour journey by train to go pick up the car and when arrived ben and his fiancee was kind enough to come pick me and my wife up from the station personally. When we got to see the car in person it was everything as described and shown in the pre sale. Ben explained the history and everything about the car and work that's been carried out on it and he had even replaced the rear caliper and brake pads on the car just before picking it up to make sure the car was all good for me and my wife long journey home . We were then taken out in the car for a drive to make sure i was completely happy and his knowledge of the car and its v10 engine was spot on. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again from ben the whole process was relaxed and went smoothly. Ben is a top guy , relaxed , friendly and he knows his cars. Thanks ben

If you're looking for an expert on the L322, look no further. Ben knows these vehicles inside and out. If there’s a way to solve an issue, he’ll find it. If there’s an upgrade you’ve imagined, chances are he can make it happen. The menu is limited only by your creativity. He flew out from England and worked on both my L322 and my sister’s—two well-kept examples he treated with the precision and care of a factory technician. He installed modern CarPlay units, performed gearbox service, resolved every mechanical and electrical issue, and completed a series of cosmetic upgrades inside and out. Every detail was executed with an OEM+ mindset: period-correct, refined, and fully in line with what you’d expect from a vehicle rolling off the lot today. The results exceeded expectations—we couldn’t be happier. There’s no one else I would trust with my cars. I’m grateful to have Ben in the fold as a trusted confidant, and we’re already planning additional customization work, including a full new interior later this year. If you’ve been searching for an L322 and haven’t found what you’re looking for, contact Ben. Work with him to find the right car and bring your vision to life.

V8 sold my 2012 Range Rover L322 Autobiography within a week at the expected price which was an outstanding result. This included making some cosmetic inprkvements to the vehicle in that week!

I was looking for this exact Range Rover for ages and found one advertised by "V8 VAULT" on autotrader early this year. I called them and spoke to Ben who sent me more photos and videos of the car. I live in NI so asked if he could keep it for me, he agreed and I paid £1500 deposit. That was in March and I arranged to come over and complete the purchase in April. When I arrived Ben stopped answering my calls. I went to the address where "V8 VAULT" was registered and it wasn't there, simply did not exist. I had a written contract with Ben and "V8 VAULT" existed on the Companies House website and there were some good reviews on this site - all of which I now assume are fake. Since then I have looked into "V8 VAULT" and Ben and found alot online about him, so it seems I am not the first victim of this non existent car dealership! there is even a website dedicated to people who previously lost money to Ben. I have now hired a private investigator to find this guy - it's about principle not the money I should have been more careful - don't fall for the same thing, don't deal with Ben only giving one star because it won't let me give zero. good luck Connah F

I'll do me best not to be "defamatory" as Ben, the owner of V8 Vault seems to think that any kind of negative review towards his company is slanderous. It is very important that everybody sees this post before buying from Ben. In my opinion you must AVOID AVOID AVOID. He only has an Instagram account, no website, Google account etc, only way to find out about this business is on this platform. I spotted a gorgeous (or so I thought) 2010 Nara Bronze Range Rover Vogue SE advertised on V8 Vault's Insta page for £11,950. The vehicle in the photos looked excellent, great spec, rare colour, Over Finch GT Body KIT, 126k Miles, Full Service History, all of the things I wanted and if you was to judge buying this car from the photos alone, the condition looked fantastic. Agreed a price, sent a driver up (lay person) driver test drives car, all OK, bear in mind is is not the responsibility of the the buyer or driver to ensure the car is what the seller says it is, as Ben is a dealer, it is his responsibility to advertise the car correctly and be honest. I pay for the car, driver heads back to Wales. When I then see the Range Rover in person, I instantly know it is not the one that was in the photos. I phone Ben up and tell him and he says that he has used LIBRARY PHOTOS! Wow so who advertises something essentially using someone else's photos? There are many differences from the ACTUAL vehicle I bought to the photos Ben used and the description he wrote. I could go on but I have been the victim of fraud and deception by a catastrophic measure, I stand to lose thousands if I can't get this guy to give me a refund. It is now in litigation. ** Ben will reply to this saying I am a dealer, which is true and I bought the RR as a trade sale, which is also true but that doesn't take away the fact of false advertisement, Ben will not make any contact with me despite sending an email and 2 recorded letters. If you have been stung by this company, you must post your experience for others to see.

I can’t speak highly enough of V8 Vault. First class service from start to finish. Ben is not only personable and helpful but is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to these cars. The car itself was a pristine example of 2010 L322, then he added new brake pads, tyres and a full gearbox service to boot, before I picked her up. He also provides a 12 month warranty as well as carrying out services at half the main dealership prices, couldn’t ask for more peace of mind, hence I wouldn’t buy from anyone else! Couldn’t be happier! Thanks Ben, no doubt we’ll be doing business again!
I recently bought a car from Ben at V8 Vault and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Ben was a genuine pleasure to deal with, friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made the whole process smooth and stress-free, and his knowledge and honesty gave me complete confidence in my purchase. The aftercare has also been fantastic, with no complaints at all. I’d highly recommend Ben and V8 Vault to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and top-tier service.

I had an extremely negative experience with Ben regarding a car purchase. We had a written agreement in place, and I paid a deposit based on that. Later, I was informed that the car was no longer available due to it being unserviceable. Despite my request, he refused to return my deposit. I took him to court and won (he didn’t show up) Based on my experience, I would advise others to strongly avoid.

V8 Vault from V8 Vault in response to AVOID
Letter before action has now been issued for defamation. A very disturbing and factually incorrect review. We did indeed take a deposit from Pieter. We agreed to apply the none-refundable deposit against any vehicle of his choosing be it at the time, or in the future. Countless hours spent discussing specs, engines, different model years as cars came into stock and then sold. The deposit is still available for Pieter to use indefinitely
James Ross in response to AVOID
Well done you. I was also ‘stung’ by this, individual but failed to get redress. Avoid Avoid AVOID. (Critical reviews of this seller seem to get deleted on this site!
Had been looking for a specific engine and colour combo Range Rover for ages and came across one which Ben had. Went to view and there were a few issues with it, but Ben is extremely capable and was able to fix the smaller ones himself, with the major one sent to his mechanic and sorted in a day. I returned and happily did the deal. I’ve since followed up with a few questions which I’m sure will be answered in due course. Many thanks Ben!
