Avoid Walton Cars in Wakefield at all costs, we had to start legal action because the zafira yg58 xuk we bought had paint chips appearing after less than 500 miles they had used a wax wash to hide it . Contacted to try to resolve but Karl ignored us sent recorded letter as advised by trading standards and first one he signed for but never replied 2nd letter we sent he wouldn't sign for which had the independent paint shops opinion in .So we then had to spend more money on court proceedings , suddenly he wanted to offer me my money back but would only give money for car , I am out of pocket for full service , cambelt and legal costs . The guys a crook stay well clear and save the heart ache . It didn't have 12 months MOT either it turned out . He also sold it with no new keeper supplement so I couldn't tax it to drive away ! But Karl told me it's fine it's classed as taxed you can drive it ! , You can't . . Strange how he can describe majority of his cars as excellent condition as I monitored his ads for weeks I have now realised it is because they are excellent , WITH THE WASH AND WAX ON .

Recently purchased a Volvo XC90 from Karl and the team, I pointed out various jobs I wanted doing first and he was happy to do them with no quibble. I have since had many jobs to do on the car to make it my own, I Had to replace all brake discs and pads and repair an expensive oil leak, It hurts but is to be expected on any car of 12 years of age, Karl had jobs to do on my V70 parts ex so its give and take really. I would buy another car again if they had what I was looking for at the time. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and wish them all the best :-)

Bought a car from Karl at Walton Cars in Wakefield, it was a Suv VW. I started having issues with the car and told Karl who drove from Yorkshire to my house in Lancashire he left me a courtesy car and took mine in for repair couldn't get to the bottom of the issue so he gave me my money back cash. I must add Karl is an honourable man very helpful and so are his staff I would not hesitate to buy another car from him I would have bought one there and then but he did not have what I wanted a very nice man.

Went to look at mini clubman that was for sale at Walton Cars and found them to be very helpful and not pushy he gave me keys to look inside the car and look at service history and his knowledge on the car was excellent may return to buy another car.

Purchase of Car from Walton Cars of Horbury Bridge I had been looking for a sporty car for my Daughter’s Birthday. Searching through AutoTrader I came across one advertised at Walton Cars of Horbury Bridge. On arrival at the Parking Lot I found the Mazda MX5 on the front row and it was in excellent condition for the year. The site owner and proprietor gave me the keys and allowed me to look over the Car in my own time with no sales pressure or interference. He then permitted me to have a Test Drive and I was able to see how well the car performed. There was no pushy sales talk and certainly no heavy demand to sell the car. There was a feeling of good sales knowledge and display of customer respect. He was polite and courteous in every way. I was happy to walk away from the car and hinted that I was very interested in buying the motor for my Daughter. Funnily enough I returned the next day and bought the Mazda MX5. I've dealt with Karl 3 times in the last 12 months, most recently in March 2016. I've always been given a good deal & been dealt with extremely fairly. I've had good value for money on each deal with no issues. I'm very happy to recommend.

I bought a zafira 2.0 turbo from Karl at Wakefield Motors. It said in the advert that it was mint inside and out. I bought the car for £3000, it had bad engine problems and leaks when raining. I suspect Karl had also filled out the service history book himself and tried to claim it had full service history, this I cant prove but its looks very dodgy and will do anything for money and to get thee sale and never do any kind of business with them is my advice.The zafira is still for sale to this day on his car pitch about 4 months later, please do not buy this car. When I phoned up to list the problems to Karl about the car he didn't care and told me he wasn't giving me money back, so I filled the 7 seater with all my pals and went down there, they soon came back with my money.
