I have now purchased my 2nd vehicle from Mark and Charlie, both have been very reliable and run great. Would definitely recommend using them and would not hesitate buying another Landover from them.

I have just purchased my 2nd vehicle from Walton Motors having dealt with Mark both times. Mark has been both greatly knowledgeable and really helpful on both occasions taking me through a number of different options available to me each time. Would thoroughly recommend.

Having dealt with mark for over 15 years I can safely say these guys are great and know there defenders inside out. You have to be realistic when you are buying classic car guys!! Too many dreamers with unrealistic with expectations!!

After owning my dream 90 for nearly 6 months now with not one single issue, I couldn’t be happier! George and the rest of the team at Walton motors were very knowledgeable, patient, friendly and helpful when I was in the search for the landy I wanted. Their communication was spot on and gave me regular updates on work that I had done on the vehicle. They have a great selection of landys at their showroom and are more than happy for you to test drive and look around at them all. If I wanted to get another landy I know where I’d go! Traveled 400 miles to view these defenders ,wow!every defender has been resprayed by a 10 years old child!paint runs everywhere and even human hair under the lacquer,never in my 60 years of Land Rover ownership have I seen poor resprays,they have all been purchased for pennies and they are trying to flip them round for a quick dollar .wasted my time veiwing these!please don’t wast your time

I bought a Landrover Defender from this garage which was meant to have a warranty. Don't worry I was told (as I live in Scotland) any problems take it to a local specialist and we will reimburse you. The warranty maximum however is only a paltry £300. I realised that there was likely to be an issue as the delivery driver left the car in the exit barrier so that it was impossible to go back. Indeed as soon as the vehicle reached 60MPH there was considerable vibration from the steering. I suspected the splined drive hub was worn and inspection confirmed this. The (long) journey was completed at lowish speed and the vehicle put into our local specialist whom I have know for years. They inspected the vehicle and confirmed that in general it was a really good one for its 22 years. Lots of new parts had been fitted but despite strictly being a MOT failure item the hub/bearings had not been sorted. It is inconceivable that this had been missed. It had also had a quick blow over of paint in places. So I am left with the feeling that I have been very lucky but would not recommend this garage to anyone. Needless to say I have had innumerable emails and phone calls over the last 2 months which have got me nowhere. Not worth a small claims court action. Buy from a genuine specialist.

Walton motors were fair and supplied us with an amazing car that has been fantastic for 3 years. Very courteous and honest. Will buy our new car through Walton without a doubt. Mr Lee. Bmw 520

Seems they like to trick overseas customers a lot. Put a down payment to hold a Defender. They ended up selling it to another buyer. They said they have experience in US imports, so I assume they’ve worked with a lot of American banks and finances. Had to cancel a bank check three times because they do not know how to endorse a check before depositing it. Won’t refund me my deposit for the original Defender I wanted. And you know what? If they had been professional and upfront and just said, no we can’t refund for this reason, like saying it’s non refundable (which I was never told nor was it ever in writing) I could’ve just said fine, let me cut my losses. But nope. They, Charlie, chose to not answer my emails or calls when asked him about for two weeks. At least get some balls and be professional. Learn from my costly mistakes. If you’re an international buyer, don’t bother, they like to play the fact that you’re not there and sell you a shit bucket and not even be professional enough to give you the time of day.
