Bought a Zoe and Branden at Westover Renault in Poole was very helpful and professional.
Unfortunately this site does not allow no stars otherwise that's what Westover Poole Renault would have got from us. Without going into great detail concerning our treatment by Westover's and more importantly a particular member of staff, suffice it to say, that by their actions 9or in this case lack of it) we were left with a bill in the hundreds of pounds for which we were not responsible. This all because the said member of staff lied about the conversations we had him which we did not "record." We were unable to prove our point as we had never anticipated that having done ALL that was required of us we would ever have to prove anything. To anyone thinking of doing business here my advice is - unless you tape ever conversation and get everything in writing don't go there. It would not be so bad if we had not be stiffed twice by them the first time being more minor but nonetheless still sharp practice - should have known better I guess.
Recently purchased a car from this dealership, very pleased with the way that we were treated especially by the young salesman Jamie who we found to be most helpful without being overbearing as per the usual. Very pleased with the car and would return to westover in the future.
Having identified a car on line, I spoke to Alex at Westover Sports cars (part of the Westover Group). After a discussion about the vehicle, he took the details of my car and called me back the next day with a part exchange offer. The offer was 25% below the WBAC offer so I politely declined but said I would still be interested in the car as a straight purchase as I had the money available and could action a swift purchase. I suggested a price 4% below their asking price as an initial start to negotiations (bear in mind they had offered me 25% less than my car's value on a trade in) and he said he would check the file and call me back the next day. Five days later and still no call. The car is still for sale. All in all, a very strange experience - a car dealer who doesn't want to sell cars. I can only assume that they not only want a big 'win' on their sale price but also a big 'win' on your trade in and hence are not so interested in a straight purchase? Whilst I can't really comment on the rest of the Group, avoid Alex at all costs unless you are keen to be patronised and always check the trade in value you are offered.
All of the staff at Westover were fantastic. All very knowledgeable and more than happy to help in any way they could. When I received the car it was in pristine condition and up to now I have had no issues with it at all. They have provided plenty of additional services and I would happily recommend this dealership top anyone.
I ordered and purchased a new car for £32,000 from Westover Group on Wallisdown Road, I collected the car and the following day I was back at the dealers because the brakes were faulty. The master technician looked at the car and said that is how they were meant to be. After multiple visits to the dealer I took the car to an independent specialist who confirmed there was a problem with the brakes. The car went back to Westover who still said there was no problem. So in the end I took the car to another dealer who confirmed there was a problem and the brakes were dangerous. They carried out all the work under warranty gave me a loan car and look after me every single moment. I am now taking them to court and would never buy anything from them ever again. All they want is your money and lie to the customer to get it, all the videos and audio we be on youtube for people to make there own mind up.

My Daughter ordered New i30 Hyundai on Monday 26th Sep 2016 after 3 salesmen!!! convinced her and myself the offer was all above board. She signed new vehicle order and paid Deposit. After signing they said they would need her to come back in to sign further paperwork and they would be able to give a delivery date and Registration Number. We returned at an agreed time on the 29th to find they wanted a further £2300+ for finance!! My daughter and I were annoyed they smiled and said it was still a good Deal. He went off and left us sat there for ages well over 30 minutes on 2 occasions. to return to say that was it. We demanded our Deposit back and left my Daughter was extremely upset and I was angry DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER. Go to EVERTON HYUNDAI (between New Milton & Lymington) were you receive superb service and Hospitality, and walk away after ordering a A new i30 same spec and cheaper. Some Dealers just expand and forget what customer service is.
Poor as poor can be, good at selling cars but beyond that go elsewhere. They simply don't have the workshop capacity to offer any sort of acceptable level of customer service. We've bought several cars from here over the years, no more due to unacceptable waits for service.
Dreadful customer service, especially after they have taken your money. No phone calls returned, vehicle not prepared to our request. Typical of big franchises. Its no wonder people choose to pay for a premium car brand when they get this level of service from the mainstream. NEVER AGAIN.
