I purchased a Ford Kuga LG63 YCE (2.0 diesel AWD) from Reed Autos Ltd (trading as Ponko Ltd) in July 2025. At the point of sale, the experience was reasonably positive. The process felt straightforward. Warranty purchase was encouraged. Unfortunately, within 56 days of ownership the vehicle developed significant mechanical issues, including drivetrain and warning system faults and was off the road for much of my 7mth ownership. I returned the car for repair on multiple occasions. Although work was carried out, the problems continued and this caused me increasing concern about reliability and safety. As the issues persisted, my experience of after-sales service changed. I felt that my concerns were not fully acknowledged and that communication became much more difficult once I began asking detailed questions about the cars history and repeated faults and my options moving forward. The experience after purchase felt very different from the experience during the sale. Because the problems continued, I arranged an independent inspection in October 2025 during my ownership (with a company recommended by The Motor Ombussman) to better understand the vehicle’s condition at that time. The findings raised further concerns for me and significant repairs were recommended and I was unable to drive the vehicle. During this period I therefore sought advice from Citizens Advice, who were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and clear in explaining consumer rights. Their guidance was free and easy to access, and I would recommend that any buyer experiencing ongoing vehicle issues seeks independent advice early. It helped me better understand the options available to me long after my purchase and how consumer protection works alongside and independently of warranty arrangements. I followed the Citizens Advice recommended formal process to reject the vehicle purchase. However the matter ultimately required formal resolution which Citizens Advice also helped me navigate. If this vehicle (LG63 YCE) is offered for sale again, I would encourage prospective buyers to carry out thorough independent checks and ensure they are comfortable with the vehicle’s condition before purchase. My advice to buyers is: • Understand your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 • Recognise that warranty cover does not replace statutory consumer protection • Seek independent advice early if issues arise Based on my personal experience, I would not purchase from this dealership again.

Everyone was lovely, they offered a great service, I have nothing to complain about. I got to go on a test drive and thought the documentation was all straightforward. I've had a few minor issues since the purchase, but nothing too concerning. I still give it 5 stars.

My new Ford Focus is a lovely car, it drives smoothly and I'm really pleased with it. I think the battery may need to be changed, which I am going to contact them about. In regard to my experience at Ponko, I'd give it 5 stars. I was there around 2 hours. I did get a coffee, I would have liked another one or maybe a sandwich, but that is the only thing.

My supervisor recommended me to Ponko. Originally I was looking at a Kia Sportage. As soon as I saw the insignia, I was no longer interested in the Sportage. Going to a car supermarket and not having any problems was a breath of fresh air, all of the staff were just amazing. Any questions I had were answered straight away, I asked about the service history and out came the service book and the previous owners. The car was serviced, I've done 1700 miles in about 5 weeks, and it has been driving brilliantly. I am more than happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

My previous car was a Vauxhall Astra, it was written off. I got a Golf from Ponko. I definitely prefer the Golf, it has been perfect since the purchase at the start of January. Jack answered pretty much all my questions and took me for a test drive, so it was a good experience overall, 4.5 out of 5.

The car is running perfectly and it’s all fine at the moment, I needed to travel further and my old car wasn't reliable enough so I got the Focus for peace of mind. When I was looking I went on Autotrader and realised that out of all the cars I liked half of them were at Ponko, so it was a good range of cars and the Focus was ideal. Customer service was very good, there was a bloke there helping out with coffees and got chatting about football, to be honest in general a good experience.
