Spotted the vehicle I wanted online and went down to view it. I appreciate that the sale was straightforward and to the point, as I knew what I wanted. Charlie was fantastic throughout, they were genuine, upfront with information and provided any answers I needed. There was a sensor issue post collection but this was fixed quickly by the dealership. Honestly, it might be the nicest car I've ever had.

I was recommended to Essex Car Company from three work friends , and because my credit wasn’t at its best I was a bit skeptical. I was trying to find the perfect car that my finances could afford and with the help of Vicky in the finance department who was amazing nothing was too much trouble and i was phoning her all the time , but bless her she found my car then I came to the car showroom and was greeted by the car sales team and they never made me feel pressured the whole time . They showed me the car that I wanted and then walked me through the finance . They made the whole process smooth and now I have my car , I will definitely going back and recommending them . Buying a car as a woman can feel a bit overwhelming, so it was a really nice surprise to feel completely at ease. I mainly dealt with Al who was brilliant, but any time he wasn’t available the rest of the team were just as lovely and helpful. Everyone was genuinely friendly and made the whole experience an enjoyable one.

He gave me time to think things over, got the extras I wanted fitted quickly and had the car delivered in no time. Very happy with the overall experience. Can't recommend him enough.

I bought my Peugeot 5008 from Essex Car Co and honestly thought I’d made a mistake as I ran into engine issues almost straight away. The car's been in the garage for what feels like weeks, but I really can’t fault how the team handled it. They were amazing — they took the car in quickly, provided a courtesy car so I wasn’t stuck and even extended my warranty to cover the time I’ve been without it. Their communication was spot on and I feel like there’s a real sense of trust between us now. I can’t give 5 stars as things didn’t go perfectly, but I’d absolutely come back for another car in the future. Thanks guys!
