Just purchased our first vehicle from Sidegate Motors (Great Yarmouth) and the service we recieved from Callum and the team (Cloe) has been first class, We had a couple of minor issues with the rear parcel shelf and one of the keys which were quickly resolved. Nothing was too much trouble and the purchse went smoothly thanks to Callum.

Purchased a 62 plate Ford Focus on 66k miles from Sidegate Motors and 11 months into ownership certain faults occurred on the vehicle notably after hearing a loud metal scraping sound from underneath driving off the driveway. The dealership was contacted and suggested that you would expect wear and tear on a vehicle of this age etc. Meanwhile the third party garage in which it was being worked on informed me that the clutch,flywheel & gearbox has failed. I accepted this and was ready to foot the bill as a mechanical fault can occur at anytime. It was at the point which the garage contacted me and let me know they had found engine oil in the gearbox when draining it. Sidegate Motors was contacted with these findings but denied all responsibility. With all the back and forth causing undue stress I chose to pay for the repair and get the vehicle back on the road. The vehicle only used at weekends for days out etc with the kids. The vehicle then got to 71000miles and experienced full engine failure. So be warned be careful where you buy because there is cowboys out there yeeeeehaaa. I have since purchased a second vehicle from Main Dealer Ford and I can not fault the service. Any problem/Issues it’s straight back in and looked at with no cost. Be aware before you part with your hard earned cash.
