I am writing this review on 7th February 2018. I purchased a car from Tom Hartley in July 2017, it arrived with my personal number plate on it but no logbook. I was informed that the log book would be with me in around 4-6 weeks. This did not arrive so I phoned the company and was assured that all was fine and I should have the logbook soon. This has gone on for months so I decided to contact the DVLA myself. It turns out that the car was not taxed, my personal plate had been put on retention rather than the car and I have been driving for six months in a car that had false plates, no tax and no insurance. Fortunately I have never pulled over by the police but had I been involved in an accident I would not have been insured due to the fact that the car was not taxed and was using false plates. I have been buying prestige cars for over 30 years and have never come across this problem before so I would advise anybody that is considering buying a car from this dealer to make sure all is in order before they drive the car. In my opinion this company have not acted in a professional manner and their incompetence is beyond belief. I have now, after speaking to the DVLA had the car taxed and the number plate changed in a matter of two days.

I found Tom Hartley to be very rude and therefore do not recommend.
