Avoid, Stoneacre Wrexham don’t carry out work you requested, charge you for extras without asking if you want work doing first. IE bulbs, that were fine before car dropped off. After 2wks of saying it was my fault as I’d misinformed them of work that needed doing. That admit they got it wrong, recall car to complete work. To then only isolate the Service fault from showing on dashboard. A diagnostic carried out by independent garage showed the fault was still there but had been hidden. Wouldn’t trust them ever again. As still need to pay out again to get fault repaired!!!
I have never had such bad service when buying a car (or anything else actually). We bought a brand new car from Stoneacre Wrexham in September last year. We hadn’t seen it (we live on the other side of the country) but, persuaded by the slightly cheaper prices Stoneacre seem able to offer, paid £500 for it to be delivered to us. It arrived with no paperwork, no manual, no service record (maintenance) book and only one key. It has taken until now (May- 8 months later!!) and approximately 50 phone calls, first to Stoneacre and then, when their repeated promises of ‘it’s in the post’ failed to materialise, with Seat Customer Care before Seat Customer Care picked up the tab and ordered replacements for us. We were passed from pillar to post, and I had to spend so much time on chasing them, I will never buy a car from them again.
