This is my review for Midlands Trade Centre Ltd, Patrick Jones. Unless you have money to throw away I wouldn't bother buying anything from here. I would not have bothered writing this review but after reading other reviews that this company Midland Trade Centre Birmingham as its known keeps changing its name. I think its important for innocent consumers like myself to be very cautious. The website led me to believe they are a reputable long established company with 20 years in the trade experience. But far from it. As I didnt want to travel far I searched for a van for our business within a 20 mile radius. This company had the right Mercedes LWB that I was looking for and although it was priced slightly higher than other similar ones I thought its worth paying the extra for a quality van for my new business. Once I arrived to there forecourt (which in fact was just a yard filled with vehicles) I noticed it was rotten all under the chassis and both back arches were corroded but they had painted over it so it could not be seen in the pics. But still amazingly somehow it had a 12 months MOT on it. Straight away I knew this could not be right and questioned the authenticity of the MOT. Upon this the man got angry and said 'look if you don't want it, don't waste my time'. I assumed this was a dodgy MOT that was put on as no way could it have a 12 months MOT with so much Rot and rust deep within the body. And I dont know what other problems it may have had if I had test driven it. I told him I will be informing VOSA and Trading Standards as I've brought vehicles in the past but not seen anything like this. But the next day the advert vanished from there website. So just be very careful as these guys are clearly very deceptive and i wouldn't trust them with your money.

STAY AWAY FROM MIDLANDS TRADE CENTRE. I Have had a very bad experience with this company. The advert placed was very attractive and the salesman convinced me to pay a deposit to, which I did for a Vauxhall Zafira. Once I got there the car was in a mess. Two tyres were clearly bold. The car wouldn't start and needed a battery boost. The mileage was 5k more than stated on the ad. As I had travelled over 80 miles to get there, I still thought I would test drive it. And then was shocked to hear from the rude member of staff that he will only give a test drive if im definitely buying it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and demanded I should be able to test drive it before I decide to proceed. He kept talking over me and saying sorry that's the policy. I thought this was absolutely ridiculous. At this stage I decided im not proceeding the sale as car was not as described and I just lost trust in there eager to make me buy it, so I demanded a deposit refund. To which I was refused and told they will get back to me. By now I just had enough and wanted to get out of there before I lost my temper and smacked him in the mouth. After this despite my phone calls to them to refund my deposit I still haven't received and now will be taking the matter to trading standards.
