Mazda 6 I recently got in touch with Mazda, head office/call centre to arrange a vehicle check. I mentioned I would be going on a long journey south, soon and would like to have my car checked over. The gentleman call agent informed me there was a good price offer at the minute for a 24 point check, which check's all fluids, like oil, screen wash, included free litre of oil and screen wash topped up if needed £56.00 instead of the £144 for a usual vehicle inspection. Also they had an offer on the fuel treatment also £10.60 if I would like to add it, Up sales I know but the lad did try to save me money so I appreciated it, free pick up and drop off included to the Mazda/Suzuki, Silverlink, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tuesday, 23/June/26. As per my service plan. The service I received, was fantastic again, pick up and drop off, brilliant quick easy process, work and inspection was all completed, car washed and vacuum was immaculate and much appreciated, received my free oil also, for my Mazda 6 saloon. However screen wash wasn't topped up as told by the head office call agent, would be with the check, small issue I know. Upon receiving the paperwork when I got my car back, there was a difference in price agreed with the head office/call centre agent. Instead of £56 I was still charged £144 for the vehicle check. I did make it clear the reason for the inspection, needing to be including the brake disc's and pads, I was informed would be checked at the cheaper price of £56 on the deal price offered on the day of the call, Which was a good price and he assured me he was trying to save me money. I did also notice apart from the screen wash not topped up, the fuel treatment charged was different to the £10.60 offer I was told, and agreed to include. I did receive a great service and totally happy with the work completed, just crossed wires, confused pricing between my Mazda/Suzuki dealership and the head office/call centre communication error between them,at my expense. Apart from the price happy with the work completed. Especially excellent wash and vacuum.

Picked up my new car From Hodgson Mazdain Newcastle 2 weeks ago, The service I received from them was second to none , Right from picking the car to the delivery Mark Hamilton was brilliant , The showroom was spotless and the attention was fantastic , This is my third Mazda from Hodgson I would not go anywhere else . Went to have a look at the new chr, test drove very impressed 3 days later left the settlement figure for my car no contact what so ever from Hodgson Newcastle. Had to ring them 5th days later got a reply the following day got a very low offer for my car and did not like Salesman attitude about lack of communication. Got an appointment at Minories toyota sunderland within 1 hour deal done car ordered.
