Took out a five year finance plan on a four year old car in November 2019. One and a half months later the exhaust fell off. Got the problem fixed. Now the whole exhaust system needs replaced and was quoted over £2k. Had the car only 12 months and it’s costing over £2k to repair it. Would recommend getting the car to a trusted garage within the week to get a real professional to look at it before committing.

Bought a second hand car today from Arnold Clark Perth. Had travelled considerable distance last week to view. Had a think about it overnight and collected the car today. Having had a bad experience at another car showroom, had my faith restored with excellent customer service. Car was ready waiting for a test drive on Friday and all paperwork ready and waiting for me when I collected it today. Very impressed, the salesman Craig Sutherland, as nothing was too much trouble and anything asked for answered promptly and knowledgably. I had booked a car into Arnold Clark Perth Motorstore for a free health check whilst i was on holiday for 9 days, when i returned to collect my car on the agreed date no one knew anything; where my keys were or anything about the work carried out. When i first booked my car in for the health check it was agreed with the service team that they would keep my car for the duration of my holiday and i would collect it on the 9th, i’ve since returned to find that the service team is off that day and the where abouts of my keys or information is unknown. I work from my car so it is essential that when i make an arrangement to collect my car, i can collect it. Prior to returning from holiday i had made various calls to the Arnold Clark store to enquire about my vehicle, as i was also told i would be kept updated via email, which i was not, when i called i was told the service team was “busy” and they would call back which, of course, they did not. The day before i returned to collect my car i had made various, frantic calls in a desperate attempt to receive some information about my vehicle only to be told again that the service team was unavailable. I eventually i got the keys to my vehicle after a long debate but when i put the keys into the ignition the car wouldn’t start. I don’t want to write anymore as i’m utterly disappointed with this poor service, i’ve been a long term customer of the Fiat Arnold Clark but i’ll need to reconsider if i’ll continue to be a customer in the future.

The price I was offered for my Fiat Panda was very fair, so I purchased the V W Polo which I arranged to have parking sensors fitted on. Throughout this Krystian was very helpful. He was also very pleasant to deal with when I collected my new car. I have had the car just a few days and I am very pleased with it. This is the second time I have purchased a car from Arnold Clark.

He went into depth about the car, he knew everything that you needed to know about the car and that helped me massively.
