My complaint has been overturned as an accident, Senior Management doesn't care that they broke the law and put me in danger, driving an unregistered vehicle. I don't trust Steven Eagell, therefore have moved to Toyota Jemca, Edgware Road to be serviced from now on. Disgusted at the casual and rude attitude and showing no morals for putting me at risk! Recommend caution ⚠️ with this organisation. From: Edmund Leung Sent: 27 January 2022 15:02 To: feedback@steveneagell.co.uk Subject: ***Urgent - Complaint - St Albans branch*** Good afternoon, I am sad to report the following after trading in my RAV4 (newly purchased from MK 2019) to St Albans June 2021 for my Corolla. My V5C was handed into St Albans for them to process the change in registration. Having finished my call with the DVLA (speaking to a Mark) just now, the DVLA explained the vehicle is still registers as "Motor Trader". I was shocked to find that after nearly a7 months have passed and I have been driving in a vehicle no registered to me. I called St Albans the staff are far too casual and brushed aside the severity of the problem, Amir called to say they had nothing on file to confirm they had actioned the transfers of registered keeper back in June 2021 because it's actioned on DVLA website. However, any government website HMRC, passport office will issue a notification to confirm an action has been processed, it is standard procedure. When I asked Amir for date and time to confirm he could not provide it and simply fell back on the excuse "it was done over the internet", highly casual and brushing the severe nature of the wrongdoing that put me into and unforgiving situation driving in an vehicle registered to another party i.e. Motor Trader. The Leungs are longstanding customer's of St Albans, from Harpers to Wayside and finally Steven Eagell. This severely impacts the trust I place in Steven Eagell as a brand, I trusted St Albans to get the job done they took my previous V5 and did not action the transfer of registered keeper for 7 months. I do not want to think of the outcome had I been have been stopped by the Police. Edmund Leung

They shouldn't offer damaged car and shouldn't hide real pictures on advert. We are thinking like this is the dealer and they never cheat. No. It's not like that. Dealer mean is franchising and there is no one from Toyota to manage this dealer. Dealer controlled by third party person who has contract with toyota. Do not trust dealers. Especially, do not trust this dealer. Don't trust people when they talking to you with gently and welcoming you. This is called friendly cheating. I went there to see the car and thought this is the dealer and should not cheat people. The car has 100's of scratches on whole left side, damage and deep scratches on bumper...etc. There are so many damage and scratches on the car. When I open the door, all decoration has been damaged and scratched. It's 2018 model car and I think has been used as minicab. Also the mileage was 17K which I didn't believe that. The dealer or who drove the car before has changed the mileage. They offered me to repair the car but I didn't believe them. I'm sure that after signed the finance agreement, they will say good bye and drive the car like that. Do not buy scratched and damaged car. Do not trust their repair promise. They will not repair properly and they can't remove deep scratches with polish.

We are pleased to say that Tolunay showed great patience as he showed us the range of cars available to meet our needs despite the restrictions imposed by the Covid virus. We eventually agreed on a purchase and once again he went through the purchase options with great clarity and delivered the car to us on time.

Where do I start? We went into this dealer to look at purchasing a Toyota Yaris. The sales person was polite and found a suitable car. We took it for a test drive and we liked it so went into the dealer to look at the financials. The car was being advertised at quite a high price so we negotiated a lower price by £1k and we said we’d go away and think about it. We left the dealer to do some further research to understand what the market was pricing the cars at. After travelling a few miles down the road we later found the car being advertised £2k cheaper on auto trader. We must have had “mugs” written on our foreheads when we entered the dealer. We went back and asked about the price. The salesperson apologised and came up with some excuses about the “head office setting the prices”. We agreed a sale on the car and the salesperson said we wouldn’t be able to pick it up for a few days because it needed to be checked over by the service department. We arrived a week later to pick the car up. I questioned where the evidence was that it had actually been serviced as the service book wasn’t stamped. The salesperson assured us that it was recorded on the “mytoyota” site and to check it in a few days. After driving a mile up the road we found the front headlight was out, we brought it back to the dealer and they agreed to replace the bulb. Again, they assured us that the service had been completed so they weren’t sure why the light bulb was out. We drive it home and wait a few days to check the service details on “mytoyota”. The service still wasn’t there. I called the service department at the dealership and they admitted that it hadn’t been serviced. I guess we still had “mugs” written on our foreheads.... Thankfully the service department seems more honest than sales and they agreed to arrange a free service for the car. After they completed the service they found another light bulb out, although I’m not sure which one as I still haven’t got any kind of receipt showing it actually had a service carried out! The helpful “mytoyota” site also shows the car has had almost £2ks worth of bodyshop work which was not declared at all during our purchase. I don’t think we will be buying another Toyota any time soon......

Hi, I bought brand new car from Steven Eagell Toyota (2019 Yaris icon tech) guys it was faulty, the boot and the driver door, I contacted them they fixed the boot, but they said the driver door is characteristic problem and can't be fixed, please come and take your car, we can't fix it, I requested return , they rejected it. I don't have money to go to court and pay for lawyers, so I have to use this car for another 3.5 years until my PCP plan ends and return it finally and buy another model(for sure not Toyota). Please don't buy any car from Toyota if you don't want to make problems for you.

I paid this dealership a £500 deposit for a Toyota Auris hybrid which was described as excellent condition bodywork,upon arriving after a 177 mile journey I the salesman got me to sign up all the paperwork before me even checking the car.And when I did check it there was deep key scratches on the doors and rear bumper not to mention dents and stone chips all around the car.You would expect these dealers to prepare the car in advance before putting it on for sale,especially when you’re paying £11,850 for it

We bought a used car 2 months ago from Steven Eagell and in hindsight it was over priced. Not happy with the price at all and so I wouldnt recommend them based on this.
