Bought my Mercedes SLK back in November 2022, on driving it home, 75 miles, I noticed something was not working as it should, I didn't take it straight back as I had a word of mouth 6 month warranty given. Took it back recently to have it put right, and true to his word, Neil got it fixed, at quite a cost to him. He even gave me a car to use that he put enough fuel in for to get home and back again. I would recommend Carstogo and will keep my eye on his stock, if I ever want to change my car at a future date.

The part-ex deal was poor, there was no movement from Neil on the screen price of the car I wanted. Upon viewing the car I noticed damage to the rear and off-side front bumper and the tyre sealant and compressor were missing from inside the boot. The car was also due a service according to the schedule. Neil assured me he would correct these issues and so I paid my deposit. Days later I returned to collect the car and none of these problems had been addressed, the car had not even been cleaned. I told him the deal was off and I was ready to walk away - Neil said he was sorry blaming the lock-down and having to run the business singlehanded and that he 'would make it up to me' The issues with the cosmetic damage were addressed to my satisfactory but the servicing was completely inadequate and was obviously a brush off, the service report handed to me was a single piece of A4 with a couple of ticks in a few boxes, not signed or dated. Also, the sealant has a use-by date which had expired in 2016. Neil admitted he had taken it and the air compressor from a similar car he had on the lot and said he was unaware the sealant had an expiry date. After 25 years in the motor trade? Really? So, Neil assured me he would but a new bottle of sealant and contact me when I could collect it, two weeks later and I'm still waiting for the call. I feel Neil had to be coaxed and pushed into just doing what was right and keeping his word.

Buying a 911. Cars to go Charminster was more interested in could I pay, how much, how much deposit and when. Service was non existent rather than poor. On collection the car was filthy inside and out, with barely enough fuel to reach the garage 100 yards away. If the car hadn’t been the one that I wanted (trust me I tried to find an alternative) I wouldn’t have given them the time of day. Harsh maybe but a true representation of my interaction with Carstogo.
I bought my 1 Series BMW from Cars to Go at the end of August 2018. 17 days after I purchased it, the Timing Belt snapped. The AA towed the car to the garage Cars to Go use in Charminster. The following morning I went and spoke to Michael. As I said I was happy with the car and my preference would be to get it repaired, Michael and Neil both confirmed the Warranty would cover the repair and they would sort it. Within a few days they had the car towed to a different garage to get it repaired. Michael kept me informed of progress and yesterday I picked up the car, which had undergone the equivalent of major heart surgery and it seems perfect. There were no attempts to cut corners, get me to pay anything or to delay the process. I've just dropped off a bottle of good wine at the Dealership as Michael and Neil have been superb, both before and after my purchase. Would definitely recommend.

I found the car online, agreed a price for my part exchange on the phone and came to collect the car two days later. Finance was simple. They are not my local dealer (95 miles away) but i would definitely use them again.

Spec and description of the vehicle was 100% and to my surprise when I arrived to pick the car up, it looked even better than when I had first seen it, due to the preparation they had carried out before hand over. I bought a Audi from Cars to Go 2 months ago and it's been great. From start to finish they were friendly and helpful. They organised my finance and gave me a fair part exchange price which made the process very simple. I had to travel 60 miles to reach them but it was definitely worth the drive and will be going back in future!
On collection of our car it hadn't been washed/cleaned etc. It also had a puncture which we had to pay for (no customer care whatsoever) and indeed from the moment we drove the car away, the Tyre Pressure Censor showed a warning to 'drive carefully' etc. Michael was very pleasant and organised for me to bring the car back to have it checked over. On arrival I was asked to bring the car to Tyreland who couldn't fix the problem without changing all four censors. A call from A salesman put a stop to that who assured me a call back to organise yet another mechanic to investigate and fix the problem. Of course I didn't get any call. I've now booked the car into BMW. All-in-all a very disappointing experience.

Cars to go Charminster dont even deserve 1 star but sadly there isnt an option for that! Do not even think of buying a vehicle from this place! We purchased a vehicle from Neil last year and we only just sorted out the situation out! (Its been nearly 4 months). He may come across nice but really he isnt! I have a recorded phone call between me and Neil you would be shocked to hear the way he spoke to me regarding the said vehicle we bought from him! Within a few days of owning the vehicle it was making noises and clunking from front, we took it to our local garage and they said the amount of problems they had found with it the car 100% shouldn't of passed it MOT that was only done a week before purchase, the MOT was done by the garage pretty much attached to cars to go! Mmmm sounds even more dodgy eh?? They quoted us nearly £1000 to rectify the problems. So of course we contacted Neil and arranged the return of the vehicle for its said warranty work and also to fix one of the headlights that wouldn't adjust, on the way to cars to go the rear passenger suspension collapsed! After hours of waiting to be recovered it was finally at cars to go. We got it back a few days later and the first thing i asked was the headlight done? Neil said is he hadn’t fixed the headlight then rudely accused us saying it was something we had done by replacing bulbs? We hadn’t even had time to drive the car let alone upgrade bulbs??!! We reluctantly took the car home, it still was making noises from front and low and behold when we had it checked over Neil hadn't even done the work he had promised (fix the knocking at front of car, the mechanic said the front end hadn't even been touched let alone fixed!) all he had done was replace the rear passenger suspension! and to top it off when we called about it he became very rude and basically said we has done the damage by driving over a pothole!! So more accusations!! Lovely salesmanship ship right there!! After that call it was then we decided to return the vehicle under the consumer rights act Neil did not take this well when i called to inform him, this is when we saw the other side of him he very rudely shouted ‘do what you want’ and hung up on me! So forward on nearly 4 months we’ve finally got our deposit and the heap of a car has gone from the front of our home. It was a fight Neil did not once back down and we had to do it all through the finance company and it was down to them that we got our money back It's put us under alot of stress and left us without a second car for nearly two months as we had no more money to buy a replacement! He had our old car as px and when we asked for it it back he had 'sold' it even though it was still advertised on his website! As I said previous please do not buy a car from cars to go I would not want to let anyone else go through same awful ordeal we had to.

I bought a Car from here a few months ago which I have had no reject. The car looked very nice but had far too many problems and was definitely not worth what I paid for it. The dealers took the car back but I would not recommend them based on my experience.
