Have bought 2 cars both have had issues but the most recent has had disastrous financial implications for me. Had engine problems which were identified when I bought it but never fully resolved. Broken down 7 times in a year. Finally out of warranty and When selling it, it was bought to my attention that that this should have been picked up very early. They never advised me that had I gone to the finance company I could have had a full refund before the warranty expired. However had I done that they would have lost out with a lemon of a car, so as it is… I ended up losing out on over £3500 for having to sell it at a loss. The only positive I have are the team in the Cardiff garage that worked tirelessly to resolve. Gareth and Owain were amazing and a credit to the company. They deserve better.

Sold with only 1locking card and no mats. Should have purchased from main dealer in Cardiff or Swansea which would have been cheaper and more customer care orientated.

Agreed price there and then. Did not want to pick up for 5 days so plenty of tim3 for them to sort out a couple of minor chips on paintwork and a complete valet. Called to collect no problem sorted road tax out for me, quick check on some functions of the car and I was away. Great value for money, excellent service by all staff at Neyland Store.

I bought a car from Ron Skinner and Son's salesman Josh was helpful and didn't push me towards buying. I saw a few scratches on the side but they were repainted and buffed and fair do's I can hardly see them. The car was polished immaculately on the day of pickup, but the inside could have been done with more attention to details such as foot wells ceiling handles, and vents just a damp cloth to remove the marks. Tina was also helpful and reassuring but I found it a bit overwhelming only because it was my first time buying a new car.

Recently bought a used car from Ron Skinner Garage in Tredegar from sales man Keith. Excellent part exchange, great priced used vehicles. Easy transaction, picked up car the day after. It was spotless, like a brand new car. I've bought 5 or 6 cars from here and have never had a problem with any of them.

I have bought my last 3 cars in over 20 years from Ron Skinner and have never ever had any issue to return/complain about any issue. Last week I bought my 3rd car (Corsa) and all seems very well. When you arrive there, they say if you want assistance etc just ask the nearest salesperson, no hassle. They are professional, knowledgeable and polite. All their cars are in 'tip top' condition. I dealt with Dan, highly recommended. So just visit and experience the best car showroom in South Wales 10/10

AVOID!! (Tredegar store) If I could give a zero rating I would! Appalling after sales particularly the manager (Jack) who had zero customer service skills! myself & family members have bought 3 cars in the space of 3 years & all had major problems, them being fuel tank, ad blu tank, faulty engine which caused me to break down on a busy dual carriage way with my children in car! The list goes on!! Expect to pay nine grand for a car that’s only been on the road 6 months!! Unwilling to negotiate or resolve any issues apparent. It’s unacceptable! I’ve always been a loyal customer to the company but in recent years I’ve noticed a decline on the quality of cars & customer service. The photo below speaks volumes!!
