I don’t remember the name of the man who I dealt with on the day on the top of my head, but he was a very nice man. The customer service was very good, the staff were nice and there was also loads of coffee, as a whole it was perfect!

I’m quite happy with the Golf from them, I have no problems with it. I was looking at 3 different cars and Ponko had all 3 of them, I ended up choosing VW golf. After the purchase I’ve had to chase a couple of times to get a couple of documents (warranty & paint coating), but this is all sorted now. That said Adam the salesman was pleasant fella.

We’re quite happy with the car. I’ve had a problem with the money transfer to purchase the car, as the bank automatically flagged the transaction. Other than that, we have had no hiccups or problems. The salesperson at Ponko took my wife for a test drive of the car and let us have a good look over the car.

The dealership was very modern & upmarket, the guys were willing to chat. They guys didn’t do a lot of negotiation, but we came to an agreement in the end. I’ve had to replace the battery as it was the original, I haven’t contacted Ponko as it’s a wear and tear item. I’ve got the Ford Kuga from them as it was local to me and I wanted to test drive something of this size as I have previously driven a Mini.

Generally speaking everything was I think was very good, there was one exception which was the brakes. After two weeks of owning the A1 I had to bring it back as the discs and pads were worn out and needed replacing, which was unexpected as the car recently passed an MOT. Ponko perfectly fixed the issue for me and returned the car to me a day earlier. All the people in the dealership were fantastic. Sadly, due to the issues with the breaks I'd have to rate them a three but if it wasn't for this it would have been five.

My experience has all been fine, Philip was good. His customer service was very good no problems at all. When I did get the car the battery had to be replaced but this has been fixed now. Ponko just had the Volvo I was looking for but after my experience I would return there again to have another look around. 😊

There was no pressure at all—just honest guidance and patience, which made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. Thanks to him, getting my car felt easy and well thought out rather than overwhelming.
